Saved my life. Best Dr ever
Back in 2001 I had pancreatitis and was in the hospital for 5 weeks before my Aunt found the best doctor ever Dr Manheimer. I was transported by ambulance to the ER in Beekman hospital from Long Island on July 4th. I was young, scared and alone. He met me at the ER and started to fix me up. It took weeks to fix me but he did it. I was under his care with Dr Zimmon and between the 2 they saved me. I am forever grateful that we found him and he fixed me.

Super disappointed with my experience, end to end
I am confused, frustrated and disappointed with my patient experience with Dr. Manheimer. During my first consultation, the door of my patient room was left wide open. My exchange with Dr. Manheimer was quick and impersonal – he showed very little curiosity of my condition. My second time at the office was for an endoscopy, for which I was given very little context before I went under. Then, I didn't get results for weeks post-procedure, and every time I called the office for them, they'd "get back to me later," which they did not. Finally, they said I'd have to make an appointment with Dr. Manheimer to see the results. I made the appointment, and then, day-of, 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, and as I was approaching the office building – they proceeded to cancel my appointment because my results came back normal. This is no way to treat a patient. To avoid the frustration I went through, do not see this doctor.

I am a new patient. After just one visit, Dr. Manheimer was able to accurately diagnose the cause of my symptoms, something that was missed by 3 previous doctors. He only performed necessary tests and procedures, making sure to get straight to the point. He listens to and cares about patients, and has conscientiously followed the progress of my treatment. He gives me advice over the phone, which saves me the commute over from another state. He is a very professional and excellent doctor!

Had a colonoscopy today by Dr. Manheimer (it was my first) and I must say, his professionalism and calming bedside manner helped to ease the anxiety I was experiencing. Dr. Manheimer and his staff appeared to work well together which made the procedure go quickly and smoothly. I would certainly recommend.
