ABSOLUTELY BEST DOCTOR!I will be going out of my way to write this review on each platform I can about Dr. Mengistu. He is absolutely amazing! As someone who is a hypochondriac and is very anxious about medical situations he is the doctor to reassure you and put your trust into. I had to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery and it all happened quickly which made me uncomfortable since I couldn’t take my time to really take things in and process them at my rate. As someone who works in the luxury hospitality entertainment area and have been trained by Forbes trainers you will never get a better spoken doctor than Dr. Mengistu he is so well spoken, comforting, educated, and genuine. Two days after my emergency surgery he did surgery on MIL as well and she absolutely loved and raved about him. Just know you are in the best hands with him and if you can and have a choice change to him and know your health is in trustworthy hands!! I almost don’t even know how Las Vegas has a doctor

I agree with all of the positive reviews. Dr. Mengistu is a skillful surgeon who displays great empathy for his patients. His communication skills are excellent. I would add that members of the office staff are very responsive and personable. I would rate this a 10 if I could.

I went to Dr. Mengistu for repair of two hernias. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. He outlined the details of the surgery and made sure I was aware of any possible complications. The surgery went extremely well and I had minimal pain afterwards. He is an excellent surgeon.

Dr Fike Meengisti, MD, is a wonderful provider who has a great manner with his patients. When i found out i needed surgery i went to another provider who was just going to do the surgery without answering any questions. Dr Mengistu was recommended to me and i am so glad. He was thorough completed all necessary screening and then answered all the questions i had . He made me feel comfortable and explained the recovery protcal He is a wonderful doctor. I would select him above any other surgron

Dr. Mengistu performed breast cancer surgery on me. He took time to explain the procedure to me and my husband without having one foot out the door like he was in a rush to get to the next patient. I would highly recommend this knowledgeable Dr.

I fully agree with the other two. He was my sigmoidectomy surgeon. Without Dr Mengistu and Jesus leading me to him at St Rose Siena, I would not be alive to tell people I chose to keep my colostomy. . . as I told him,. . ."to avoid the draft". My surgery was Sept 8th, 2016. Mine was an emergency exploratory, He would reverse if I wanted and I chose not to. I'm otherwise, according to him, strong and healthy. Kept my sassy humor. I Highly recommend Dr Mengistu to family and friends*

Saw Dr. Mengist for drain removal after extensive surgery out of town. He reviewed & listened to my full history & fully explained the risks & benefits of removal at that time. My husband & I were both impressed with his demeanor & professionalism. Great experience. We felt he spent adequate time with us, and did not feel rushed in anyway. He seemed more concerned with our complete understanding of the situation. Will definitely see him again if needed.

Dr. Mengistu is my son-in-law's surgeon at St. Rose Siena hospital. Dr. M did an excellent job with his bowel surgeries after developing bowel infarction from mesenteric venous thrombosis! He spent time discussing and updating our family; he has an excellent bedside manner. He has also been very responsive to the nurses and they have mentioned how great he is! Thank you for a job well done!!!
