I wish I could write a more positive review of Dr. Lee. I really do, because he is a nice guy, and I'm sure he is a great doc for some folks. However, the appointment that I had with him in June of 2019 was honestly horrific. I was in treatment for Atypical Anorexia when I saw Dr. Lee. My treatment center, where I was in a partial hospitalization program, referred me to him as there were few in network endocrinologists with appointments available, and he was at a clinic with a doc they trusted. Well it turns out the doc they trusted was on a sudden medical leave and they had brought Dr. Lee back out of retirement to cover for her. Not only had Dr. Lee never heard of Atypical Anorexia (which is just anorexia without the weight criterion), but he clearly did not believe me when I explained my illness to him. He focused on my weight, recommending weight loss surgery 3 times in the course of our 20 minute visit. I was so stunned afterwords that I questioned everything about my medical care
