Dr. Fernando Santini, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Santini for two years now. When I first came to Dr. Santini I was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. The mass in my lung was relatively large. Dr. Santini started me on a treatment program and within the first six months, the mass had shrunk significantly. Two years later, the mass is barely visible, I feel good and continue to lead a normal life. Besides being extremely knowledgeable, Dr. Santini is one of the most caring Dr.'s I have ever met. He is kind, gentle & genuinely cares about his patients. When I first came to Sloan, I was petrified about what my future would be, and I can happily say today that Dr. Santini along with all of the staff at Sloan have given me a bright future. I would strongly recommend him to anyone going through lung cancer.

My mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer 14 months ago and she has been under Dr. Santini's care since the beginning. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Santini. He is knowledgeable, available, kind, compassionate, etc... His bedside manners are unmatched. My mother lost faith in all doctors until she met Dr. Santini. He has such a way with his patients, he doesn't talk down to us, he explains everything thoroughly - and not in "doctor language". We always feel a little better about everything after leaving his office. Dr. Santini's entire team is just as wonderful and we know we are so lucky to have all of them.
