Two times my mother saw her, she had to wait 2 hours both time. One time while waiting she had diarrhea and second time she was incontinent. For someone who is a geriatric doctor, I would expect more care and consideration for elderly. Wait time should not be longer than 15 minutes.

Dr Heitor is my mother's new doctor. My mother was choking on food. I tried every which way to reach her for help and left many messages. Only after I complained, did she show up at my mother's bedside two weeks later. She still hasn't returned my calls. I cannot recommend her. Also after meeting my mother(10 minutes) she discontinued a medicine my mother had been taking for 10 years. When I questioned it, she lectured me on how we have to see if she needs it and watch for a trend.

My mother is 87 years old and has high blood pressure and extreme arthritic pain. Dr. Heitor spends a lot of time with my mother and really goes over her condition, medication and her overall well being. She asks a lot of questions and really listens to my mother's concerns. She is very good about staying in touch with me via email.
