One of the best doctors I've ever had
She actually listens. Even if your health symptoms are abnormal and unusual like mine due to chronic pain, she takes the time to research your condition and look for possible causes. She is not afraid to consider all possible treatment methods. I love Dr. Carreiro and would recommend her to anyone.

Saved my life
Despite not being my regular doctor, Dr. Porto Carreiro took my mild symptoms seriously which led to my going to the ER and eventual cancer diagnosis. She kept up with me remotely when I was in the hospital, just to answer questions and because she cared, more so than my regular doctor. I'm in awe of her ability to do all parts of her job well, from her bedside manners, to her thoroughness, to her explanation of my crisis. If only she has room for new patients!

My best doctor visit in 5 years
Dr. Carreiro very patiently asked me questions regarding my health. She completely read my whole chart and asked questions to understand my past medical history. It was a wonderful office that truly meant a lot for someone who has lost all hope in doctors. She truly cares.

Best doctor, deserves award
Dr. Porto Carreiro is one of the best doctors I have had in my life, and I have had many doctors in my life. She has the best bedside manners, very patient, and caring for her patients. She doesn't rush the patients, is a great listener, responds to the emails within reasonable time, follows up with the tests and is a great communicator. I have been seeing her for about 5 years and I trust her a 100% to put my health in her hand. She deserve the best doctor's award.

I have been seeing Dr. Porto Carreiro for years. She is a wonderful doctor and has the absolute best bedside manner. Being overweight I have avoided doctors as much as I can all my life (yes, I do have a mirror and I do know my size is unhealthy) but Dr. Porto Carreiro never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed and she is always quick to respond to emails and phone calls.
