Great doctor
Dr. Fleming provided great care for my recent surgery. He cared for my overall well being and made sure that other options were explored before surgery which has not been my experience with surgeons in past. Dr. Fleming and his team were thorough in both my care and in helping me to understand the level of support I would require post surgically. Great doctor!

Cared about my quality of life.
After seeing Dr. Flemming on and off with diverticulitis, I decided at age 39, that elective surgery was the best option for me. Dr. Fleming never pushed surgery on me like other doctors and surgeons had done, and he took his time to offer alternate ways to manage my disease. When my infections became more frequent and I decided to have surgery, he and his team were organized, supportive, and explained everything in detail. I was incredibly well cared for post-op by his team and the nurses. I’m healing well and feeling so much better!

Dr Fleming is compassionate, approachable and a great communicator. I never felt like he was rushing through a visit. His skills are of the highest order. He treated me for colorectal cancer. He is part of an incredible team of cancer providers at the Wilmot Cancer Center/University of Rochester Medical Center.
