Dr. Martinez performed carpal tunnel on my one wrist, within 3 days I was pain free - that includes op pain and within a week and half I had full movement back. Remarkable. He made two such tiny, elegant incisions I am amazed he was able to do anything. By contrast I had surgery on the other hand with another surgeon and 7 weeks later I have a significant, ugly scar, serious pain and very limited hand movement. I wish he had performed both surgeries.

If this is the Frederico Martinez, MD that use to work at Saint Elizabeth's hospital .. he is amazing. I fractured my wrist.. and he was able to snap it back in place without rods. Incredible. One and half year later I have only small sensations in it when I'm doing pushups. He did have me keep it in the cast for longer than usual and that is very painful when the cast comes off. He is a super talented doctor and has a great personality. I don't know where he is practicing now.

I am sure he may be a good doctor, but I didn't feel that he was particularly interested in me. He didn't prescribe pain medication even though 8 weeks after the visit I remain in pain. He did not tell me how long the pain would last. Really poor patient care.
