Dr. Kotob is not only the greatest doctor ever but he is a great human. He cares about me as a patient and as a person. He has gone above and beyond to make my life amazing and the negative reviews are clearly those lying to themselves. Drug seekers and those fakers trying to get disability are the only ones leaving disgruntled reviews I am sure. If a person truly has pain and wants to get real help the treatment Dr. Kotob provides exceeds that of any other doctor around. He is very skilled with his injections and knows exactly how to reduce pain and make life worth living!

I asked the receptionist prior to making an appt if the doctor was unbiased in evaluating pain medication management. She hung up on me… everyone seeking pain management is not a druggie. The stereotypes are exhausting to ppl in real pain ??

I believe he is wonderful. For years, I attended several primary doctors and one GI specialist complaining of pain below my right rib. I was referred to Dr. Kotob and he asked my right away, do you still have your gallbladder. I said yes, why are you asking? He told me it sounds like the pain is caused by my gallbladder. I told Dr. Kotob, but the ultrasound and CAT scan showed no stones over the years. He explained to me that it could be a chronic gallbladder inflammation with gallstones. He sent me for something nobody suggested before to me. It is called HIDA scan. It showed exactly what he described. He referred me to a surgeon, who took my gallbladder out. That was six months ago. Since then I had experienced no more abdominal pain. The GI specialist had performed over 10 upper scopes and so many other tests done. Never helped Right now, I have no nausea and no belly pain. It feels so good to be without those symptoms after so many years. I can freely say "Dr. Kotob saved my life."

Finally, a ray of hope for relief after my visit with Dr. Kotob! I have been suffering with so much pain and it felt like I was seeing doctors only to commiserate rather than get help. So, I suffered in silence. Then finally, I made an appointment with Dr. Kotob. He is very thorough and he had answers/a plan rather than just a sympathetic ear or a nonchalant writing of prescriptions. Dr. Kotob is significantly caring with an excellent bedside manner. Luckily, Dr. Kotob is not just helpful for me, I have noticed that he is thorough on setting enough time to sit down with each patient and hear their issues. He is one of the only doctors who is interested in spending time with his patients and communicating with them their options to alleviate their pain complaints. He also accommodated me with my work schedule, allowing me to set earlier or later appointments then he would normally schedule. He is well worth the drive from Troy, and I will never see anyone for pain other than him.

I think most of these positive replies are not patients, There is no way he was incredible as some of the reviews all seem to sound alike. I saw him twice, the first time was an hour wait and he was very rude in his fruit loop kind of joking way. The second time was to get an injection where I just bend over a table and thats it. At least at my previous Dr they had me in a surgical room with professional equipment and professional staff. I would never recommend Dr Kotob to anyone. 2 times was enough for me, should have listened to my instinct of saying no to this one. Huge waste of time.

Absolutely wonderful. Saw me as an emergency during the Covid-19 pandemic and was so thorough and considerate, addressed my pain and was determined to get to the cause of it, prescribed medication appropriately, and was clear in his treatment and instructions. I was in agony for three weeks and his treatment has given me tremendous relief. His staff is kind and efficient.

Dr. Kotob has been treating me for chronic back pain and I've been extremely pleased by his service. He is a very good doctor and his clinical intuition is superior. His office is very clean and his staff is the best in the state. Believe me I've visited several pain doctors all over Michigan and he is the only one that got a grip on my suffering. I highly recommend him without reservations.

Dr. Kotob helps managing my pain. He is thorough in assessment and in explaining management plan. He is compassionate. The staff are wonderful. I love the candies they offer me after receiving my shots, which help substantially, both the shots and the candies. Don't believe those nasty reviews about the doctor and his practice. I left him two years ago because I moved out of state, and I couldn't wait until returned to his care.
