I have seen Dr. Rosenbaum for more than 8 years for a seizure disorder. Throughout that time she has provided thoughtful and highly skilled care. Her diagnosis and treatment skills are outstanding. Her staff is conscientious and professional.

Agree with everything that has been said above. I was looking for some empathy from my doctor but Dr Rosenbaum is straight and to the point. She typed on her laptop the entire time I was explaining my problem to her and gave me very little information. After investigations, she left me with - “the problem is not what we thought it was” - let’s wait and see. All this while my symptoms continue. On the upside, it was easy to get an appointment, whereas I’d have to wait weeks to see other neuros. I also liked that she personally called me back after she got a copy of my MRI, instead of leaving it to one of her assistants. I will, however, be seeking a second opinion because my problem was not solved.

Although Dr. Rosenbaum might be good at prescribing meds, I found her personal skills dearly lacking in treating my elderly mom who was suffering from dementia and trigeminal neuralgia. After we left Dr. Rosenbaum's office following one of the last appointments before my mom passed away, my mom, teary eyed, said to me "I'm stupid." Because when the doctor asked the typical questions to assess cognition and my mother couldn't come up with the answers, Dr. Rosenbaum was unable or unwilling to comfort my mom or reassure her that it was ok.

I have visited Dr. Rosenbaum and plan to see her again. My impressions: On the positive side, she is well trained and seems a good diagnostician. My primary care MD, whom I fully respect, recommended her. On the other hand, her demeanor is cool and somewhat aloof. If you are looking for warm, fuzzy and chatty, do not expect to find it here. That's fine with me. I'm looking for neurological expertise, not a buddy.

Quick to prescribe medication, offers no other care, insight or follow-up. Even after dire events, no modification change to medications made or proper assessement recommended or conducted. No innovative treaments offered. Not up to date with changes in the field. No suggestions provided to caregivers for respite or other support.

Dr. Rosenbaum is not friendly and bristles at any attempts even to be cordial with her. She is cold, abrupt, rude, impersonal,. and unsmiling . She will not let you ask any questions until she is completely finished with her examination. When I tried to talk with her about her incompetent office staff, she cut me off and asked if I wanted to complain to her about her staff or talk about my medical issues. I chose to talk with her about my medical issues, which she was unable to diagnose.

Dr. Rosenbaum, while technically competent, was unkind, cold, abrupt, and has an incompetent office staff. The wait time was short, the appointment was technically covered properly, but the physician lacked warmth or kindness during the encounter. Her questions were abrupt, she cut off my history a few times, not letting me finish, and did not provide written discharge instructions to this patient, who suffers from memory loss. The office staff was rude and misleading about billing.

Unlike most 21st century health care providers, this physician practice has no modern patient communication technology. Specifically, they have no secure patient portal. I was told to fax my detailed patient information on an unsecured line. When that failed to work, i was given a receptionist's private Gmail account (again unsecured). I had the wrong gmail mail address. Now my personal health care records, including SSN, are in cyberspace or in the hands of a strange. Thank you NVNA!

Horrible Neurologist... Even with progressive worsening of Neurological symptoms, she decided not to admit patient and let her go home. Even after clinical diagnosis was made, she did not want to treat because she was too afraid.
