She's the Best!
The best! She has helped me deal with my autoimmune problems for several years. She is personal, her appointments are not rushed and she really cares about helping her patients.

Refuses treatment, writes nothing down
Insists that lupus only causes pain in the joints and feet, which is blatantly false, and refused to treat me for any other joint pain. Told her for years I was in immense pain, she only ever said "I can't help you" and refused to treat me. Obviously I assumed she meant medical science can't help me, since she's literally a rheumatologist trained to treat lupus. Still I told her every appointment that I was in pain, and every appointment she said she couldn't help. Finally one day she actually listened, and was SURPRISED that I was in pain, because she had apparently NOT ONCE WRITTEN ANYTHING DOWN. Also said it was MY FAULT that I had suffered for years, because when she said "I can't help you," she actually meant "See another doctor." Note that she never once actually advised me to see another rheumatologist, I was just supposed to read her mind.

She tried to talk me into going on a biologic and I didn't need one. I had no symptoms. In addition, the office is just crazy. I switched to another rheumatologist who is 100 times better.

After being kept waiting for over an hour, she complained about her staff, her life, and even cried about how she wanted to quit. She did the same thing to someone else I spoke with, she is not anyone I would trust with my health.

Dr. Cohen is a compassionate and kind doctor who is really trying to improve patient's health. My autoimmune issues have been tough to deal with and she always takes the time to really listen. I know when I go to the office I will have to wait a bit to see her but I am willing to do that because I know she is taking her time listening to her other patients.

Dr. Cohen has gone above and beyond to help me. She even called me one night to inform me of my test results as soon as she received them, and came in early the next day just to go over them with me and get me started on medication as soon as possible. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family.
