one of the best doctors I've ever worked with
Telehealth
After two concussions ( and unfortunate prior doctor visits), I was terrified of what was happening to me. Dr. Foo was so incredibly patient throughout our appointments, always took the time to respond via message, and calmed fears as I asked about any and all details. He took the time to explain things well and never rushed me. I always felt very confident in working with him. Both telehealth and in-person.

No evrying is not normal Listen to your intuition
not impressed at all I went in for EMG for peroneal nerve pain in the knee and a long standing drop foot which as not been treated even a refferal for a foot ankle brace which I desperatley need i went with severe vertigo swaying weakness of lower limbs to the point I could barely walk and needed a wheelchair in the facility with my symptoms getting prgessivley worse by the day yet his test result showed normal on everything hghly unlikey since a test from a few months ago perfomed by a more seasoned doctor showed concerning results I do not trust this test that he performed at all. Yes I should have gone back to the original doctor who did the first test. Cannot trust tests only as good as the technician and interpreter Listen to your intuition!

Don't waste your time
This individual was extremely unprofessional, arrogant, and rude. He seems to make a snap judgement and just refuses to listen to any patient he has. He also came to inspect me showing clear signs of having a cold--refusing to wear a mask and never sanitizing his hands. Furthermore, he made it clear that he would be unavailable frequently due to ongoing 'family issues.' If you have the unfortunate encounter of meeting him, I wish you well. Seek elsewhere.

Cold, Arrogant, Lazy and Dismissive.
He was aloof, cold, lazy and arrogant right from the start!!! He barely spent time with me when I went for an EMG. All he could reduce a dignosis to was "as you age..." which I knew prior to seeing him. My issue was muscle wasting in my thighs. I was mostly tested on the muscles below the knee, barely in the area of concern. No explnantion of why that occurred. The worst neurooligst I have ever met and I've met quite a few. I will be complaining about him at NYU.

Would not recommend Dr. Foo. Terrible appt. It started with him not introducing himself as we walked to his office. I thought he was a nurse. I had to ask who he was - no ID. He said his name plate fell off. Courtesies and protocol aside, it was not a professional consult; he had not reviewed my health history prior and was ill prepared. Additionally, I don't recall him or his student observer sanitizing their hands. So disappointed, especially because of his NYU affiliation.

Dr. Foo is a kind, compassionate, and intelligent physician. He was sure to take his time when examining me. He sat patiently, answering any and all questions I had. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a good neurologist.

unsure about the visit, but they submitted the claim wrong to our insurance company, in my name and not my husbands which is absolutely crazy and irresponsible. they then sent us a bill for $520.00! as his wife and the policy holder i tried to call to rectify the situation. my husband does not have an opportunity to call while at work. i do but wasted my time. trying to get the billing dept. to fix their mistake has been so frustrating! while on a three way call with their billing department, and our insurance company the representative from our insurance company hung up on their billing department because they absolutely would not help us or give us to a supervisor. i tried to call back and speak with someone else and had an even worse human on the phone that time. our insurance company representative was very surprised at the behavior of the billing department and in no way should my husband have to call to fix this issue. they made a mistake, they need to correct it ASAP.

Dr. Foo was able to give both an intellectual and informative approach to my treatment. He touched based on all areas that I had concerns without me having to bring them up. Dr. Foo re-assured my intuition was good and I am handling myself well. It filled me with confidence rather than doubt which I received from other doctors. I felt better from the conversation alone and I trust his judgement.

Will never recommend this doctor. He frivolously decided to prescribe medicine for me without doing further testing and even though the symptoms I was describing were not consistent with his diagnosis. When I probed more, he agreed that MRI was a much better next step and as I suspected it ended up showing that I didn't have the problem which the doctor was planning to prescribe medicine for. He was also very condescending in his approach.

this neurologist diagnosed a family member with a severe condition, offered no treatment plan, and drifted off to the next patient. Not typical of NYU doctors at all. Potentially devastating to the health of the patient. But as long as he has a house in East Hampton, a yacht, or whatever it is, I suppose it is all fine by him. I can't quite say that because it is my family he might have terminally damaged. Frankly, i have been utterly horrified that a dr would treat a patient this way.

Dr. Foo was thorough and was prepared for my visit. He reviewed my medical history and notes from our last appointment, and was prepared to conduct a follow up appointment. He also was patient and gave me a lot of time to ask questions. He spent time with me and was friendly. He made me feel comfortable, but most importantly, I left feeling like I received top-rate medical care. Not to mention, he inquired about other aspects of my life apart from my medical condition to factor into his diagnosi
