Dr. Fariborz Ashtyani, MD

I arrived at the office on time for a 11:45am appointment and approached the window with my co-pay and gave it to the girl. She stated I have an outstanding balance of $50 for a no show. They claim the was for a follow up visit I was going to have after doing a 'at home test'. The original arrangement was for me to pick up the machine on a Friday and returning it the next day, Saturday. I received a call prior to Friday and was informed I could not return it on Saturday but on Monday. I told that was not not possible since I'm at work at 7am and there is no one I have to drop machine off so ' cancel the machine and the follow up which was scheduled two weeks later'. They refused me my appointment. since I declined to pay the $50. I asked to speak to the doctor and his response was , ' no, not until you pay the no show fee. I saw the doctor come out to the front desk area who showed no concern and left it with, 'it was nice knowing you'. Complaint was filed with my insurance company.

I've been a patient of Dr Ashtyani for many years and everytime I go there I never wait more than 10 minutes .Staff is excellent and almost everyone can help you.

Extremely friendly and accommodating office. I went in to test for sleep apnea. The machine was life changing. The Doctor is very nice and no nonsense. No extra visits or time wasted. I would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr. Ashtyani and his staff. After weeks of ineffective treatments by my General practitioner for what we thought was a cold that triggered asthma, I took the advice of a friend and saw Dr. Ashtyani. By that time, I was weak and barely able to walk more than a few steps without stopping to catch my breath. Dr. Ashtyani did a thorough exam and after reviewing the films taken sent me immediately to Hackensack Hospital to be admitted for advanced walking pneumonia.

Great doctor. Very knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile.

Impossible to get an appointment. Leave messages to call back and the Office never calls back. Have to wait 1 to 2 months to get an appointment. Doesn't have night hours for people who have to work.

As always, today's appointment has been very professional and enlightening. It is always a pleasure to sit down with Dr. Ashtyani and time well spent! Thank you!

Dr Ashtyani is not only an amazing doctor but a superb human being. He took time with me and answered all my questions and concerns. He genuinely cares for his patients and follows up with them. We need more doctors like him in this field. Not only is he knowledgeable but took the time to educate me on my symptoms and treatment. I would definitely go back to him if needed and would recommend him to all my friends and family!

The office staff was friendly and Dr. Ashtyani took the time to explain my condition to me, including me with my care which made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this MD.

Doctor Ashtyani has always spent the time with me to make sure that I understand my condition and answers any of my questions. My appointment never feels rushed and he and his staff have always been accommodating.
