Dr. Kada is terrible. I am taking immunotherapy for cancer which affected my thyroid. Her bedside manner is extremely poor and I was berated for asking simple questions about my healthcare and the drugs prescribed. Both my oncologist and me have messaged her with no response. I have showed up for a scheduled appointment which was canceled without my knowledge. She told me that I 'worry too much' about something which in fact her nurse told me to look out for! Her staff told me that I was not allowed to switch doctors within the practice and when I questioned this more, they said I good switch once and not again and that this was an INOVA hospital policy (which in fact it is not.) I would not recommend this doctor. Go to another practice.

I had a terrible experience with Dr.Kada if your planning on taking your parent or a relative that doesn’t speak English fluently or English at all Don’t go to her I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL, also she won’t help you calling the insurance for a medication she prescribes..

Dr Kada is the best endocrinologist i have ever seen. She is a kind and genuine person who treat you like a person. She sits with you and listens to what you are saying attentively. It is clear that she is a very educated woman who is passionate about what she does. I wish all doctors had her same manners.

What a Breath of Fresh Air! After going other Endocrinologists to treated like a number, waiting for an hour only to have the Dr. talk AT you for 2 minutes (they don't know your name) & push pills in your face... Going to Dr. Kada the first time (and every time after): I walk into the office 5 minutes before my appointment, head into Her office where she treats me like a person. We usually talk for 10 minutes before reviewing my test results but she will take an hour if she needs to.

She is the worst doctor I have seen. She charged me $100 for nothing. So when I reached the place there was no one, no receptionist nothing, the door was locked. The first thing she said is to swipe my card to pay 100 dollars. I did that and then she started asking me questions. She has no manner as to how to make her patients at ease.

She's one of the best doctors I've ever seen. Her knowledge and skill go far beyond her specialty. I came to her after seeing more than five different doctors, none of which were able to diagnose me. After analyzing my long list of symptoms, she was able to find the problem. I would highly recommend her to anyone in-need of an endocrinologist.

I tried to transfer to Dr. Kada from another endocrinologist and, while she herself is professional, her office is not well run at all. I had to fill out new patient forms twice; pay my copay before even seeing the doctor. However, the real reason I'm leaving this review is that I tried for more than a week to get a refill for an urgent prescription called in by her office to no avail - myself and CVS called about 5 times a day for a week to no avail. I am never going back.
