I don't recommend....
So why wouldn't a KP allergist who treats asthma not be able to help my contact dermatitis or eczema issues? She told me it was because it's 'division of labor' or rather, she didn't think it was her job and sent me to a dermatologist. She did send me for blood tests -- I got the results but no follow up from her....or not her job? And oh, it turns out my dermatitis was a result of an allergic reaction. She sent me away with weeping eczema that was coming from my scalp an allergic reaction over 90% of my body. During the appointment, she talked down to me and said, 'Let me explain to you what kind of medications you're on because I think you're confused. One is a maintenance med and the other is inhaler used as-needed.' I've been on my meds for 10 years and use them as directed. This doctor has no bedside manner and doesn't care if a patient is in distressed. The dermatologist immediately diagnosed me and had my issues under control in 2 days.
