She’s one of the best psychiatrists that I’ve seen in NYC. Compassionate, patient, and thorough.

Dr. Chachko has been great over the course of the years I have seen her. She is very bright and has a good bedside manner. Most importantly, I have improved substantially since I began seeing her. Her office assistant is outstanding. Her schedule is very booked so it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment at a time that works best for you unless you are willing to wait.

Dr. Chachko is a very pleasant and understanding person. She takes good care of her patients and has a very motherly demeanor. It is great to see a psychiatrist not just prescribe meds but sit and listen to you first and work through your problems. that's hard to find now a days. Only complaint is to schedule appointments it is not easy to contact office because it is only one person helping and nothing is computerized. Sometimes it can take days.

Dr. Faina Chachko is a very kind woman and has been helping with my medications however her secretary is difficult and sometimes rude on the phone when it comes to making appointments and keeping up with my phone calls. The amount of time spent calling them for appointments and never getting a single response back has been exhausting and annoying. Not worth the time or money. It's a very "sit down and talk" environment and isn't completely helpful. I will be changing psychiatrists.

Dr. Chachko is an exemplary psychiatrist. She is extremely patient & works with you to develop a very thorough plan of care. Her demeanor immediately puts you at ease and you never feel like she's rushing you out of her office for the next patient, which is rare these days. She is an excellent listener and you have the sense of how much she cares about your well being. I would highly recommend her if you're looking for a psychiatrist. I was referred by a friend and we both agree she's the best.
