Dr Qureshi was very helpful, he spent time asking questions and talking to me to develop the best treatment plan. I am very thankful as I was finally able to get the help I need.

Dr Qureshi got me balanced.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Qureshi since 2014. He is very knowledgeable about medical disorders and the medications that treat them. Over the years he has helped me out in various ways. Most important, he has balanced me. He is a great Doctor!

Had a 12:30 intake with “Doctor” Qureshi. Been online waiting since 12:10. It is now 1:10. Called sunrise counseling to find out what the issue is. Turns out he is “running late” and that his assistant was off for lunch. Well. Im no genius but i imagine when you pay somebody to literally be your assistant that alerting NEW clients to the fact you are late is on there. WHAT A JOKE. Not even going to bother doing the intake now. AVOID DOCTOR QURESHI AS IF HE WERE CORONAVIRUS! IF HE REALLY CARED ABOUT HIS JOB OR ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE HE WOULD CALL ON TIME OR HAVE HIS ASSISTANT CALL TO LET YOU KNOW HE IS LATE. ABSOLUTE JOKE. GO TO ANYONE ELSE!

I was with his for a year and half. due to the pandemic I have been quarantined in florida with family. after consistent left messages to his staff, he told me to find a new doctor because “instead of all the confusion with one patient I could be helping 10” I have been off my meds for almost a month now and all I needed was an answer. very disrespectful answer to give someone who is diagnosed with 3 mental disorders.

I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with this doctor. He has made me wait over an hour on multiple occasions and DOUBLED my dose of antidepressants overnight rather than introducing it slowly which caused me to become suicidal and self harm to the point that I ended up in a psychiatric hospital. He never followed up with me and sent me a letter to find a new psychiatrist. I would trust a raccoon with a stethoscope more than Dr Qureshi and I would give him 0 stars if that were an option.

Awful. Will not respond to messages, does not arrive on time. I stopped making morning appointments because he doesn’t show up until 10:30. Multiple times I waited over an hour and he hadn’t even arrived yet.

This doctor came highly reviewed at first glance. When he prescribed two scripts for my 15 y/o, female, hormonal, still growing teenager I had questions. He was not open to answering. When ? At the next visit (and not having her begin 1 of the meds) he flipped. Told me that her gen health was not his concern, that I was reading up on the med more than he was? He said he would not see her anymore becuz I cause him too much stress by asking ?’s. Dr. Q does not like being questioned by a WOMAN.

He doesn’t like to be questioned. Not at all. He refused to see me further after just two visits. It’s just about a lie and a half that this man is a child psychiatrist. Find another doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Qureshi for about two years. I was told he was an excellent psychiatrist but I've heard this about other doctors in his field so i was a little skeptical. After a few visits i was almost convinced that I had found the right psychiatrist for me. I liked the way we interacted but the TRUE test is how he helped me in a crisis. After he LISTENED he combined feedback with advice and medications. within 2 months i KNEW a had the RIGHT psychiatrist for me.

I have seen many top psychiatrists with my treatment-resistant depression...tried over 13 meds, ect, and more. My insurance just changed and this is the one of the only psychiatrists in suffolk on new plan willing to take me as a pt and prescribe my maoi, the only drug that helps. He is also one of the few who actually seems interested, concerned, and knowledgeable about psychiatry. Also he is not arrogant and does not try to disprove nor ignore what i say i am feeling. Overall, a quality md
