Dr. Fahad Khan, MD

I have worn contacts for the last 30 years and have gone through a ton of different optometrists and ophthalmologists throughout that time. I can easily say that after just one visit with Dr. Khan he is easily my favorite I've seen. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great personality and bedside manner to go along with it. I originally found him through the positive reviews, so I figured I'd add to those reviews to make sure others have the opportunity to receive the quality care that I received. As long as I live in San Diego, I'll be going to him moving forward.

Dr. Khan was awesome with my son. He explained everything so well and really knowledgeable about everything !!! Lisa and Marley were great also.

After 29 years as an eye care provider and 23 tears of medical treatment (various providers} for my eyes, I can state that Dr, Khan provides exemplary patient care. He is very attentive and provides clear explanations of testing procedures and treatment options. He just performed a successful combined cataract and glaucoma surgery on my eye. I will definitely choose Dr. Khan for my future eye healthcare needs.

I’ve had Glaucoma/been living with it after my surgeries for almost 10yrs now and didn’t fully understand what was going on with my eye health until my first appointment with Dr.Khan. He’s taught my family and I soo much in three appointments that Kaiser never bothered to show us in over 5+yrs. Needles to say we love Dr.Khan and his office’s wonderful staff! Also, so clean/organized/respectful and proactive about everyone’s time??

My regular Optometrist referred me to Dr. Kahn because of high eye pressure and I am so thankful that she did because he is an excellent Ophthalmologist. After an initial visit to diagnose the problem, Dr. Kahn performed a simple, painless and successful laser procedure to both eyes on two subsequent visits. Not only is Dr. Kahn very skilled but he is also very knowledgeable and he listened to all of my concerns and questions. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn plus he has a first rate staff, especially Edgar. I went to see Dr. Khan because I wanted to get a check up for my eyes. Each time that I've gone I've received excellent bedside manner. I feel like my eyes were thoroughly checked. He does an excellent job at examining your eyes. I always leave at ease, because I know that my eyes are in good hands!

Went for a Glaucoma evaluation for my mom and Dr. Khan was great - super patient with our questions, answered everything very clearly so we could understand and ultimately made my mom comfortable with going back to see him without needing me to be there with her for her upcoming appts. Thank you for providing my mom with excellent care!
