Very hard to get a hold of nurse and then took multiple days for them to follow-up when things were very acute and dire. Hospital stay after something left untreated and no follow-up till we called them and still no rush or care it seemed.

Fails to follow best practices
I saw Dr. Annaba for chronic gastritis. He did an endoscopy, took biopsies and told the test was negative for H Pylori. Turns out, when gastroenterologist leaves a patient on a PPI during testing, the false negative rate is 57 percent. I have lost 14 months of quality of life as well as thousands of dollars because of his poor judgment. I finally tested positive for h pylori with a stool test ordered by my wonderful NP, Ami Broughten. Now I am on the road to recovery. I will find a gastroenterologist somewhere other than Springfield Clinic to follow up. Because of long term stomach inflammation, my odds of developing stomach cancer are much greater than the average person.
