GREAT DOCTOR
Dr Owings is a fantastic professional and a genuine caregiver. As a former Army Officer and retired Federal Agent I’ve seen multiple Doctors for job related injuries. He’s a First Teamer!

Care and Concern
Dr. Owings showed care and concern at my appointment. He wanted to know exactly how I broke my forearm. He even picked up on my broken pinky finger on my left hand.

Cubital Tunnel
I was referred to LCO by another family member. Dr. Owing has a great personality, quite knowledgeable, very compassionate and easy to talk to. I explained my symptoms and he diagnosed quickly, breaking it down in layman’s terms. Came up with game plan that we both agreed upon and proceeded forwarded. Expectations are to make a full recovery. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedist and I will be retaining him for any future needs in his field.

Best Ortho Surgeon in SC
I was referred to several of the physicians at Lowcountry Orthopaedics, after an accident, where I was treated by Dr. Owings. I simply cannot say enough about him. Not only is he a phenomenal physician and surgeon, he always has a smile on his face and makes you feel so comfortable and confident with your treatment plan. He and all of his staff are amazing. He is by far the best orthopaedic I have been to in the state. I would not take my family to anyone else.

Recently I told my doctor Sarah Heincelman that I had a cyst in my left thumb. She then referred me to the Low Country Orthopedic. Later I received a phone call from someone at LCO and I was given an appointment to see Dr. OWINGS. I arrived half an hour earlier and greeted very friendly by all the health workers there. I was then called by the David for the hand xray. All done nicely and professionally. The actual talk with Dr. OWINGS was very friendly and very informative. The small surgery on my left thumb was scheduled without a problem. Great job and great people waits for you at the Low Country Orthopedic. ARNOLD

Dr. Owings listened to my concerns with my hands. I recently moved to Summerville two years ago from Central New York. As a retired hairstylist of 35 yrs. My hands go numb a lot. My family Dr. made a referral to Dr. Owings the hand specialist. He has been a God send for me. He read all my past MRI and together we have come to the conclusion on how to fix me. He truly is the best. I would recommend him and his staff, the office people are fantastic also. Everyone answered all my questions and I was never rushed. Thank God Dr Owings for your wonderful care.

Dr. Owings was very straightforward and explained things throughly. Hes a very kind doctor and he really knows his stuff! He did not suggest surgery right away, he wanted to go for a non- invasive route first. I can not say enough great things about the entire team at Lowcountry Orthopedics! You guys ROCK!!

I’m very grateful and thankful that my primary care physician preferred me to Dr. Owings for the help that I needed with my hand. I was very nervous about seeing an orthopedic doctor and wasn’t sure what to expect. Dr. Owings has put all of those concerns to rest with his very professional, caring and concerning office mannerism! He is very good at explaining the issues in a manner where I understand exactly what he’s talking about and I don’t leave his office guessing about anything concerning my care. Dr. Owings and his staff is very caring, concerned, respectful, and professional. I completely trust them with my care!

I am 67 and I live in Massachusetts. My husband and I were spending the winter in South Carolina. On our third day I fell and fractured my wrist. I was in pain, overwhelmed and anxious. Dr Owings put me in a cast after x-rays and an exam. He is knowledgeable, professional, calming and reassuring. I felt safe in his care as he listened to my complaints and helped me with each one. He saw me multiple times over the next three months. He is wonderful, patient and listens. Thank youDr Owings!
