Terrible doc! Diagnosed me with POTS and had not clue how to help me. Tried two meds and said “well we’ve tried two and didn’t work so not sure what you want me to do”. Only 2 meds!! Most people try 4-5 meds before they find what works for their body. Beta blockers are not a one size fits all and not once did he offer advice

Awful
My best friend has been in a wheelchair for 2 years after getting covid and she's seen a bunch of doctors about what could have possibly happened. She sees this Dr. Piccione, sees that she's in a wheelchair, that she has a hard time moving her arms, and has a history of strokes, seizures etc. and says that she's making it up and just needs therapy. Thanks for nothing.

Very poor bedside manner
I waited several months to be assigned to Dr. Piccione after moving from California to Nebraska, and needing specialty care for an existing condition. Dr. Piccione barely spoke to me at my initial appt and scheduled me to re-do all of the testing my prior doctor had completed 3 years before. After the testing appt, he left without giving me any results. Since I was already diagnosed, I figured his office would call in a few weeks for my follow up appt. Imagine my surprise when I received a notice from my life insurance company that his nurse told them that I wasn’t diagnosed with my condition. He apparently rescinded my diagnosis, which had already received second and third opinions at Stanford years prior, without bothering to tell me. When I requested an explanation, he didn’t apologize or give me a plan to find a new doctor, treatment, nothing. So now I’m completely stranded medically, with a rare disease, and no doctor or treatment plan.

All 4 extremities were studied. Not a fun test.Having a severe neurological deficit to the lower right. There is an increase in the onset of the acute pain. Pain scale hitting 9's and to 10.The iatrogenic nerve injury .Neurotmesis. Was covered in a neurosurgeon visit. This neurologist Showed me PATIENTS ARE NOT THE PRIORITY. He would not discuss these readings with me upon my request. I would need to cover the study with my doctor. And Here's what happened. The study my insurance company was billed for,was missing the lower right extremity readings. to be continued
