Dr. Ezechinyerem Uzosike, MD

Dr. Uzosike is filling in for my primary care. I needed help with a serious condition and referral to a specialist. He gave me some nonsense about his whole family being lawyers, and "sometimes the truth is a lie and the lie is the truth." Said he doesn't know how to read MRIs. How about take a class? If I could give him no stars I would.

I am a new patient of Dr. Uzosike and new to Kaiser too. I chose Dr. Uzosike from several available physicians for several reasons related to my complex medical conditions and needs, even though his office is inconvenient for me since we live just down the street from a large, full service Kaiser facility where I could establish care with another doctor. I had an excellent experience on my initial appointment. Dr. Uzosike is approachable, empathetic, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and more thorough than any physician I have been cared for in my more 5am six decades of life. It is clear he cares for his patients as individuals. He got my prescriptions into the system and filled, referred me to two specialists, scheduled a follow up the next week, scheduled several tests, and followed up several times with welcome information and information about my care. I am very comfortable trusting my care to Dr. Uzosike and will be referring patients to him without hesitation. Great person.

I saw Dr. Uzosike for my left knee and right wrist. He did some physical review of the knee and said he didn't think anything was wrong, that I probably had runners knee, but he would send me for an x-ray to be sure and would refer me for a brace, if I wanted that. I told him yes, because the knee had given out on me twice and I have to climb stairs at work. For the wrist, he didn't even touch me, just looked to see if it was swollen. I told him that I had injured it when a heavy backpack fell from my shoulder onto the wrist and it hurt even to shampoo my hair now. He said I just sprained it and it would be fine. I explained that I work 12 hour shifts and have to carry heavy keys to open doors, carry crates, apply chains, etc and I was concerned I'd make it worse. He said it would be fine for work.
