Awful
I saw Dr. Moses-Kolko for about 4 years now, and this was my first experience with a psychiatrist. I never took the time to look into her reviews and just kind of accepted that I had to figure things out on my own but after seeing all the negative comments, I now know I haven’t been imagining the horrible, condescending care that I received.

Not at all what someone would want their family/friend to see as a "specialist." Seemed to have a laundry list of pre-canned diagnoses that were the go-to solutions and was completely unable to listen to patient concerns, particularly with medication side effects that a second doctor IMMEDIATELY recognized or that perhaps the original diagnoses was not correct. From her I learned the meaning of "bad doctor."

Recommend to her from OBGYN after falling into a funk after some big life events. After the second appointment not only did she label me with an inaccurate diagnosis but added a list of 'disorders' I needed to work through. It's all a racket for more insurance billing and perscribing more drugs. If I was someone fighting a true mental challenge I by no means would want my care to be in her hands!

Much like the majority, I find her to be absolutely heartless and should in no way shape or form be practicing medicine. Extremely negligent doctor who prescribes medication without educating herself on it or the patient. Nor does she put in the work or effort into anything she does.

Dr. Moses-Kolko helped me tremendously with postpartum mental health issues I was suffering from after my first baby was born. She spent time with me learning about what was going on and discussed viable options specifically for my needs. I drive an hour to go to her because I couldn't find anyone specializing in postpartum care in my area. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of women's behavioral health care.

Dr Moses kolko is offended when patients don’t take what she prescribes, no questions asked. She smirked at my opinions- which turned out to be correct. She is insecure, maybe for good reason bc she seems unwilling to put in the time and effort required.

I agree with the other two patients who left a review. I had the misfortune of seeing her when I was inpatient at WPIC. Wanted to prescribe depakote despite the fact that im an alcoholic and was possibly pregnant. Had to remind her that blood work wasnt back and we didnt kniw if I was pregnant or not three times in a less than 20 min conversation.

Dr. Kolko is by far the worst psychiatrist I have ever had the misfortune of working with. Her sheer lack of compassion for her patients along with her willingness to drop patients who do not have any other psychiatric help, a breech of medical ethics, leads one to wonder how she is still in possession of a medical license. Her conduct is both negligent and grounds for malpractice.

She was still a resident and was "serving" the University of Pittsburgh on campus. Did not listen at all about medication side effects: 20 yrs later I still have the cyst scars from the allergies to the medication she forced me to continue taking for almost a year. Also cared zero about any sexual sexual side effects of medications: said they were not important. Cared very little or none about what patients reported. Cannot say loudly enough that she should not be practicing medicine.
