Dr. Evelyne Chiakpo, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Chiapko since she was a resident under my original PCP, she had always been tentative and helpful and friendly to me, she is very knowledgeable and through with her examinations. I chose Dr Chiapko as my PCP once she was able to see her own patients, she has always been attentive and responsive and supportive, if she doesn’t have the answers to my medical problems or if it’s not her area of expertise, she is more than willing to refer to her patients to the correct doctors , services . I have had multiple medical issues to develop throughout my life and Dr Chiapko has been very supportive and helpful to me and my health. Evelyne Chiakpo MBBS is an excellent physician.

I've been with Dr. Chiapo for 12 years. I have a multitude of illnesses, and she pays 100% attention to me. She remembers what we speak about, even my kid's names. If she doesn't have an answer for me she always says "I don't know. Let's send you to someone who does know" She is patient, professional, kind, and an all around great doctor.

I found her very dismissive of my concerns about my health , no explanation or options given Bed side manner is non existent I got upset whilst in the surgery and she abruptly asked me why was I crying ?? Told me to go and get bloods done and walked out of the room Terrible experience

Dr Chiakpo never listened to my symptoms until I was quite sick months later and then acted schocked to hear I was so sick. She always dismissive-literally walking away as I talked. Happy I'm seeking treatment elsewhere-best decision I've ever made.

I have gone to Dr Chiakpo several times in the last several years. My insurance has been spotty and it never seemed worth it to hunt for another doctor. She is consistently dismissive and seems to not care at all about me. My last vist was the icing on the cake. I have been have been missing periods and was hoping to get a hormone screen. I am a lesbian in a committed relationship. Dr Chiakpo INSISTED that i take a pregnancy test. She didn't listen to me at all and sent me home with no help.
