Dr. Evelyn Llanos, MD

I have been a patient of the practice for a few years. I normally saw NP Catherine Leon. After she left, I started seeing Dr. Llanos. I only go now for yearly physicals because my experiences now aren't the best. Just recently, I went for a routine appointment. The lack of communication due to language barrier between patient/staff is frustrating. The hygiene practices by staff are shocking. The medical assistant did not put gloves on the draw blood, which I had to ask her to put on. I had a follow up telehealth which I did not receive a link for, now have to pay a late fee of $60 in order to reschedule my appointment. Just a few situations I've recently run into. Would 100% not recommend.

The office staff is very unprofessional and rude. When calling to confirm a patient I was directed to confirm via email. Which I did twice. When I called back the second time to follow up on the two emails I had sent, I was told there was nothing that she can do bc everything must be done via email. When I asked if she could leave a msg for the provider she said no. In the middle of asking to speak to a supervisor she placed me on hold mid-sentence. Waited a couple of mins then someone roughly answered asking what did I want. I then identified myself and the reason for the call. she rudely said the receptions already told you you have to email the office. Then asked the name of the patient, rudely stated she could not help, identified herself as Dr Llanos and hung up.

She was the best! She explains everything. Everyone on the staff is super good. I recommend her.

I have been waiting since last August to get my medical records to my new doctor and keep getting around. I emailed Dr Llanos and what is her reply that sees not records of my request and that this was the first time she is hearing about my request along with HIPPA law. I am in no way shape or form surprised by her reply because unless she is breather down her front desk staff's neck they don't know what to do. A strong level of training is in much need at her office.

I have been a patient of Dr. LLanos for about 3 years. I have received a very high level of internal medical care and support. I see Shivannah Chatar, RPA-C for my appointments. Shivannah has an outstanding blend of medical knowledge, diagnosis skills, treatment plans, preventive medicine practices, recommendations and follow-up. This is the most thorough and consistent level of care that I have ever received. Shivannah and Dr. Llanos are very easy to talk to, listen well and very considerate.

Dr. Llanos didn't treat me like just another patient. I felt really cared for and comfortable, and she took her time explaining the nature of my ailments and how best to continue to manage them when I leave. She was incredibly lively and it eventually stopped feeling like a doctor's appointment, but rather a checkup with an old friend. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Llanos to anyone.

Dr. Llanos has been our family practitioner for over ten years and in that time we have had nothing but great experiences. When my daughter was in 3rd grade she had a strange pain in her stomach one night so I called Dr. Llanos, who had left the office by then but told us to come in and she would see my daughter. It took Doctor Llanos less than thirty seconds to realize she had appendicitis and sent us to go the the ER. My daughter had the operation later that night.

Very nice doctor. I actually felt that she cared about what I was saying and took the time to listen. I've been dealing with some complications from my medications and she worked with me to make sure we got my issues under control. She's pretty funny too.

Dr. Llanos was very friendly and kind during my visit for a physical. She really did try to make me feel comfortable, and though she talks fast she really was thorough with answering my questions. this was a great experience and I am happy to go back for my yearly physical

Excelente doctor and she speaks clearly to her patience and she has a good experience she speaks 2 languages and she can find out what's wrong with you by looking at you and to make sure she's correct she makes you go tested

Over the past 30 years + and having many doctors Dr. Llanos, Dr. Chiatar and staff are the best I've had the pleasure to put my life in the hands of. They stay on top of everything which includes my diabetes and my heart surgery. They are the best. It's nice to be recognized every time you walk in.

Horrible experience. Went there for my green card medical examination. Charged me $275 even before seeing me! Asked for Hep A vaccine (2 doses at 6 months), I checked with other doctors; all said I don't need it. She agreed not to do it but tried to jeopardize my application and wrote in my form that I refused to take the vaccine. She refused to come and discuss the issue with me. When I got upset and asked for my money back, her assistant (Shivannah Chiatar) threatened me and called 911. AWEFUL

This office is HORRIBLE! I hadn't to remove myself from employment, that's how bad it was. Dr.Llanos is a control freak who is arrogant and does not know how to to speak to people! She talks on everyone! And behind the scenes, they ALL speak negatively about not patients. I do not regret not working there anymore. If you are looking for a doctor, stay far away from this practice!

Horrible

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! After hearing multiple people having as bad or even worse experiences than mine I decided to leave this review and hopefully help some people to not be taken advantage of. They will have you do unnecessary tests and then make you come to an office to get results so they can charge you for more office visits. When you are not complaisant, they will be really rude with you. All they care is really just getting as much money out of you and your insurance as possible.

Charged you for preventive care! I went to this doctor last year when I didn't know better. They charged for copay even when I went for a physical exam or get preventive care services. For the results, they did not simply call but make me come in and pay another copay fee! This is ridiculous - you shouldn't have to pay for preventive care. I came there 2-3 times and never spoke to the doctor once. Only met with physical assistants and whoever did the medical test for me. I get escorted to multip

My son needed a script for physical therapy for his tendonitis. Dr. Llanos' office told him to come in. When he got there today, they insisted on $130 cash. Since he doesn't know any different, he gave them every dime he had. When he saw Dr Llanos, she was rude and said since she hasn't seen him for 2 years, she cannot give him the script. He would have to go to an orthopedist. They took $130 from my son dishonestly. They should have told him on the phone they couldn't do it. Incompetent
