I generally don't write reviews except for outstanding service. I have had several eye operations over the years and most of them were fairly unpleasant. The surgeons were generally not very responsive and one procedure had to be redone, basically due to poor planning. So I was not expecting a positive experience when I learned I needed cataract surgery for both eyes. Since I would be having the lens replacement procedure anyway, I was also interested in lenses that would correct myopia.

Dr Icasiano botched my cataract surgery. What’s worse, she didn’t realise it at the post-op exam. I had to have a second surgery 6 weeks after the first, naturally by a different surgeon, to salvage my eye.
