Iliostomy & Reattachment Surgeries
I hate to keep repeating this fact but Dr. Evan Feldman is amazing and what every doctor should strive to be. He is so caring of his patients and I've never had a doctor quite like him. He performed both my iliostomy surgery and my reattachment with skill and compassion. He stays in constant contact throughout the processes, sometimes visiting me multiple times a day in the hospital. The most impressive thing was how he thanked both my daughter and I for letting him treat me. It's not an easy process to go through but his treatment made it so much more tolerable. My only gripe is I won't get to see him in the future because now I'm healed.

One of the Best Doctors
If you need colorectal surgery, selecting Dr. Evan Feldman as your surgeon will be one of the best healthcare decisions you can make. I have twice been under the care of Dr. Feldman, and I cannot recommend his expertise and professionalism highly enough. After my gastroenterologist found a tumor during a routine colonoscopy, he referred me to Dr. Feldman and said that he is the surgeon he would want operating on him if he needed colorectal surgery. My initial surgery went well, and my recovery was as Dr. Feldman said it would be. My second procedure was over a year later for a small bowel obstruction. As a testament to his focus and dedication, there are two points I offer: 1) during my 18 day hospital stay I saw Dr. Feldman on 16 days (often twice a day), and 2) when it became apparent that I needed surgery, Dr. Feldman scheduled it for Sunday morning to avoid bumping patients scheduled for the next week.Dr. Feldman is an exceptional surgeon who genuinely cares for his patients.

My experience with Dr. Feldman couldn't have been better. I was in need of a second opinion for a major surgery and he offered clear and concise information to help me move forward with a good plan. We switched to Dr. Feldman to do the surgery after this conversation. He is patient and took the time answer all my questions in an "un-rushed" manner. His team scheduled the surgery swiftly and his team followed up with a clear conversation about expected services and costs. His office felt organized and the team there was very friendly and professional. After surgery, he visited with my wife to give her clear updates on my progress, and I saw him daily during my 4 day stay in the hospital.

Dr. Feldman performed colon surgery on me. From my first office visit I felt he was knowledgeable, could communicate understandably with me, and he put me at ease. He was in continuing contact with me leading up to the surgery. Following surgery the course of recovery was exactly as he said; and it was with minimum pain and no added issue. I feel very fortunate that Dr. Feldman was my surgeon.

Hearing the news that you have a malignant tumor in your colon is scary news to say the least. However, Dr. Feldman put me at ease immediately and explained the surgical procedure well. He was eager to answer all my questions and I did not feel that he was rushing me through. He, himself, checked on me each day that I was in the hospital. The time frame for recovery that he gave me from the beginning has proved to be right on the mark. I highly recommend Dr. Feldman and the staff of ATL Colorectal Surgery.

I would have never thought I would be in a situation were I would need a Colon Surgeons & Rectal doctor, but Dr. Feldman definitely exceed my expectations. I had a reversal that I needed done, and was so nervous because the only reason I needed the surgery was, because I had a fibroid that had to be removed, and unfortunately it ended with me in ICU with a ileostomy bag. I wasn't about to go through that horrible experience again, so I decided to try Dr. Feldman, after reviewing his credentials. The first Colon Dr I seen was determined to cut me all the way opened, I just couldn't do that again. After one visit with Dr. Feldman he stated we could do it, he was confident in his skills, and reassured me it the best options would be taken to complete my surgery. I was out of surgery within two to three hours, and he also removed a hernia underneath my stoma. If it was anymore stars I could give Dr. Feldman, because the process after him doing my surgery has been amazing.

I had Colorectal Surgery performed by Dr. Feldman. Everything went very well. Dr. Feldman was wonderful! He spent time with me and explained everything well on my first visit. He answered all my questions. Concerning the Surgery, Dr. Feldman did a great job - everything successful - no complications. The Post Surgery follow up visit was very informative, once again having all my questions answered. I highly recommend Dr. Feldman, his staff, and Atlanta Colorectal Surgery.

Dr. Feldman treated my husband for rectal cancer. During a diagnostic colonoscopy the GI found a tumor. She referred us to Dr. Feldman because of his reputation as a good colorectal surgeon. Our first contact with Dr. Feldman and his practice was about 3 hours after the tumor was found. A nurse from Dr. Feldman's office called to say he would like to meet with us but he had no appointments available for the next day. However, he would like to meet with us...could we come in and sit with him during his lunch hour? During this first visit, Dr. Feldman offered us hope that a good outcome could be achieved. He was confident and encouraging. During the last 14 months our journey included chemo, radiating and successful surgery to remove the cancer. Today, my husband had his last appointment with Dr. Feldman and was released from the practice. We will forever be indebted to him.

Words can not aptly describe my admiration for Dr. Feldman, his PA, Christina and for Dr. Hum. He has been my colorectal surgeon twice and each time his dedication, expertise and bedside manner are all impeccable. Both of my surgeries were extremely involved and complicated. My most recent experience came from seeing another physician whose surgery was awful and Dr. Feldman was the one who took over my care and got me well. I will always "clear" all future surgeries/surgeons through Dr. Feld

Dr. Feldman is a wonderful surgeon. He has a way of connecting with his patients and genuinely cares about the individual. He was so patient and careful with his explanations so as to not scare you to death. I would put my life in his hands any day. I actually miss getting to see him. He made me feel like he was treating me like he would his own mother if she needed his expertise. Great individual. Catherine Grist

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Feldman! He called me twice at home before my surgery to see if I had any questions and how I was doing. He is a very passionate doctor. So rare today. I felt I got the utmost care and would never see anyone else. Even if you just need a colonoscopy please see Dr. Feldman! Will recommend to all friends and family. My surgery was 12/18/17 and it was literally with no pain .....unbelievable.
