Total knee and total hip.
What a great surgeon and even greater person. Would highly recommend this trusted orthopedic surgeon for knee and shoulder problems. I'm 10 years out on my knee and 5 years on my shoulder. I still do 3 miles a day and 74 years old.

Without going into great and unnecessary detail, Dr. Ellis and his EXCEPTIONAL care team did all that I could ask for to treat my worn out knee joint. We used a cortisone therapy for several years knowing it was only a temporary fix. It worked ( for 2-3 years ) it was all I needed but after 2 yrs, it simply stopped working and I had no choice but to bite the bullet and get my knee replaced. I was PETRIFIED !!!!!!!!! Three hours after the surgery, I was walking the halls of the hospital. Within a few days, I was climbing stairs. Ditched my crutches in three days and went to a rolling walker for about a week, then a cane for another week or two and then nothing. Today, a year and a half later, Like EVERYONE told me " you'll kick yourself for not getting it done sooner and avoiding all the pains and discomforts of "bone on bone" in your knee joint. I walk without any limp AT ALL. I give him and his team a flat out A++++. They are the team to go to for joint issues !

We sought a second opinion from Dr. Ellis for my son’s leg injury. I wish we had seen him first. I found him to be patient, thorough in his explanations and just really kind.

Highly likely. Very personable. Explained why shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tear, why I needed better type one diabetes control before surgery could be done and offered alternatives while getting my sugars under control. Wait was longer because I was late. Dr. Ellis spent all the time I needed and answered my questions.

He did a great job to explain my prognosis and how to fix my issue. I was completely comfortable with his advise and confident he will get me back running. He is a true professional and feel like I’m in great hands.

Dr. Ellis presented as a very intelligent, upbeat doctor and seemed quite competent as far as evaluation and diagnosis. But, when it came to performing the actual procedure, he failed miserably-only after 7 months of intensive physical therapy (unsuccessful) did he inform me he had to shorten the muscle in my arm to do the repair. I have had chronic pain and incapacity to thrive for the past 5 years and it has cut my quality of life miserably and have been unable to work a desk job since.
