Empathetic and balanced
I saw Dr. Mathews for a basic checkup as my old Sutter doctor had moved away. He was comprehensive but didn’t grill me. He put me at ease and was very kind. Even though his office is far from my home, I’m happy to keep him as my primary care doctor.

Ethan Mathews is a very thorough doctor. He's caring, and intelligent. I was lucky to have him before I got kicked out of the doctors office due to the management and another practitioner, but that's not his fault as far as I know. The management he's associated with might be incompetent. I'm not sure he handles emergency situations very well, so don't count on that. Other than that, he's got your back well. He's probably the best doctor I'll ever have had.
