Dr. Esther Kwon, MD

I set an appointment with her last year to establish care and she only saw me for a few minutes, but it was still off-putting. I needed to do bloodwork to establish a baseline, but she said I 'looked' healthy and shouldn't need to do a bunch of 'unnecessary' labs like her other patients ask for. I chalked it up to first encounter awkwardness and still left her as my primary care. Recently, I've been really stressed at work and was looking for solutions so I set another appointment, it was over a month out, and what was supposed to be a telehealth turned into a phone call because of technical issues on her end. She spent the whole call, which was less than 10 minutes, telling me she couldn't get me time off of work, that if it was that easy no one would work, she offered no solutions or options, I had to beg her repeatedly to refer me to a therapist. Based off of these two interactions, I can tell she doesn't believe her patients when they ask for care.

Very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Not only was making an appointment to see her difficult, it was cancelled last minute. When I DO get to see her, the appointment is rushed and the doctor rude. Doctor has no regard for the patient or their time. Look elsewhere for a better doctor.

Doctor does not respect patient or their time. On top of making it difficult to see the doctor, the doctor is rude. Not worth it, go look for another internist. You have many nicer ones to choose from.
