Cruel and condescending
I should have read & heeded the reviews before going. She asked me why I came to see her, only to sneer and condescend to everything I said to her. She left me shaking and in tears. Do not see her.

Telehealth
She doesn't seem to listen as it seems she is always rushing to see the next patient. That is not what made me change providers though. I had been seeing her for about 3 years and requested she fill out FMLA papers due to gastro issues that I was seeing a specialist for. She decided the amount of time off was too much, despite the gastroenterologist recommendation and based solely on lab results. Not sure, but it seems like she thought I was scamming, but after 3 years you hope to establish some credibility and rapport with your doctor, since that was not the case, I have a new doctor.

Unprofessional
The few times I have seen Dr Turk I have regretted it. She is unprofessional, curt, and just plain uncaring. After the last time I told my primary no more visits to her and said I need to find a better option when he is not available.

Terrible Bedside Manner
My ADHD concerns that brought me to her were immediately dismissed, and Dr. Turk said instead of medication, I should just "drink more coffee" and that would solve the problem. I was informed that I was "too high functioning" to have any mental health issues, even though I told her I was struggling in certain areas. Dr. Turk then spent the entire rest of my appointment berating me and shaming me about my weight. She looked at my body and said, "has anyone ever told you that you have diabetes?" Not only have I never been diagnosed with that, but even after she ordered blood work to test me, all of my screens including blood sugar came back completely normal. It was a degrading and humiliating experience, and made me delay care after our appointment because I didn't want to subject myself to her verbal abuse again.

here is the letter I wrote to her I am deeply disappointed that you were unwilling to advocate for me when I saw you last. I made it very clear to you that I have dense breasts, already had a lump removed, and they CAN NOT be detected via mamogram ONLY MRI. you straight away shut me down and refused to problem solve or advocate for me. This is severe dereliction of your oath as a doctor. I could send you many studies verifying the dilemma that many woman, including myself find ourselves in. But my guess would be that you are aware of this information and decided to put me at risk any way. I am grateful for the caring and attentive doctors I had previously in California. Without them, my lump could have grown much larger and dangerous. It's saddening that you did what you did and will probably take an egotistical response to this information, instead of changing how you receive the people you are tasked to care for.

She is very abrupt. I don't feel she is thorough. I felt very rushed through. She almost seemed bothered or impatient that I was there.
