The depth and breadth of Dr. Pedroza's knowledge is unmatched. The personal attention and detail that he has brought to both my Father and Mother is Above and Beyond what one typically experiences in today's current medical landscape. I have been a long-term patient of Dr. Pedroza's because he is an excellent endocrinologist. However, due to the sarcasm and rude behavior that I recently experienced from Brandy, his receptionist, I have decided to seek services elsewhere. She should not be working with any patients, much less mature patients. An example of her rudeness is when I asked if Dr. Pedroza was still practicing and her response to me was, 'I'm talking to you aren't I?' As the call continued, it just got worse until I said 'Cancel my appointment!' Brandy has been confronted multiple times about her behavior. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

Dr. Pedroza is the most thorough and intelligent doctor I have ever encountered. I just wish I would have found him 30 years ago! He thinks outside the box and recognizes that every patient is unique, which drives him to find the root cause of the problem and not just treat the symptoms! He orders blood tests that most doctors probably never heard of before. He does not rush you, he comes and sits down beside you and explains every detail of your results! Unheard of in today's medical arena! This doctor truly stands out in his field. Every other endocrinologist requires a referral, but he doesn't. His staff is worthy of mention, as they go above and beyond the call of duty! Becky and Brandi (hope I got it right) treat you like family and you definitely feel right at home. I have never felt better since I am under the care of Dr. Pedroza! Finally, a doctor who truly cares about his patients! God bless you all!

Dr. Pedroza is by far the best endocrinologist ever had within 25+ years. He is thorough, caring, and shows concern. His methods for addressing metabolic issues are effective. I would definitely refer him to family, friend, and associates.

Pedroza’s office is the WORST! If your appointment is made expect to wait TWO HOURS no less to be seen. It’s awful. Took me a week to get him to write an order for homehealth. Called two weeks ago about an appetite pill for my grandfather and STILL haven’t heard back. Get you a doctor that will take care of you. This guy is slow and will literally waste your time.

I've been with Dr. Pedroza for over 30 years. I travel every 90 days from Houma to his Laplace office because he is the best. I've tried to seek the same quality care in Houma and have found none!

Dr. Pedroza has been my endo for a little over a year, and I'm sorry that I didn't find him sooner. He actively listens to my problems and concerns and has a wealth of knowledge to use in treating my Type 1 diabetes. Also, he treats all my internal medicine problems and his staff is very good about getting me in to see him for issues other than diabetes. Margaret is wonderful; she makes the difference in my diabetes care. A visit there is a pleasant experience from start to finish.

Dr. Pedroza is the best Diabetes Endocrinologist in Louisiana. His expertise & knowledge about Type 1 Diabetes, listening to me all the time & helping me stay free of Diabetes Complications. He's my primary doctor that manages all my medicine. I'll never be able to find another doctor like him ever.

Dr Pedroza is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable about your problems, and listens and has answers for your questions. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the wait time is a little long but he is worth the wait. Nicholas Patterson

I have been a patient for over 35 years. I am a type 1 Diabetic and Dr. Pedroza has been essential ln my care. I am on the insulin pump, have had good A1C’s thanks to his guidance and excellent care. He takes a personal interest in each patient to ensure that they take the necessary steps to maintain as healthy lifestyle and mental wellbeing as possible.

He's got a wealth of experience and knowledge. He listens carefully, and is able to diagnose many times without excessive testing or expensive equipment. I've tried to schedule an appointment only to find out he's at an endocrine conference. I know he attends these regularly to keep up to date on diseases and treatment plans.

Dr. Pedroza specializes in diabetic care. Unless you are a diabetic or care for a diabetic you have no idea of what that care may include. Most people know it causes your body to be unable to process sugars & you either have to be on insulin or oral medications. What they don't know is that diabetes can affect your eyes, kidneys, heart & even your feet. You need someone who is going to watch for all of these things, educate you and treat you appropriately with the right medications. He does.

I am a diabetic and can say the care that Dr. Pedroza has given has helped me medically and has kept me abreast of new technology in Diabetes management. He has diabetic educators that have helped me with my care and he takes the time to go over your daily routine to make living with diabetes easy and healthy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pedroza for over 25 yrs. He is extremely knowledgeable in the treatment of type 1 diabetes. He is up to date with the latest developments and treatment options. His diabetes educator is also extremely knowledgeable, and is always willing to go out of her way to help me, no matter how trivial the problem. Whenever I needed a specialist for other issues recommended the top Dr. for that field. The wait is sometimes long but worth it.

Dr Pedroza is an excellent Endocrinologist. I have seen endocrine doctors at the larger teaching institution hospitals prior and lets just say the care doesn't compare. Dr P. is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on the most recent care guidelines. He even has his own Diabetes Dietitian in the office to work with you. He covers endocrine disorders, but that doesn't mean he ignores anything else going on. He takes care of the whole person and body. I'm glad my daughter in law recommended him!

Dr Pedroza was very thorough on my initial appointment. He even was able to capture things going on with my health outside of his specialty which was great (saving me a trip to my PCP). As I have seen him many times now, he is very thoughtful and funny once you get established as a regular patient. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Pedroza helped my wife when no-one else could. He gave us both hope after seeing so many doctors that said there was nothing wrong. He (Dr. P) tested and went so far as to do EXTENDED testing. He found the problem and solved it!

I was referred to Dr pedroza. His wait time is 2.5 hrs. This is too long. Do better Dr pedroza. Elderly patients should not have to wait this long. I am currently in the waiting room. My appt is for 11:15. They just called patients scheduled for 9am to the back. Not cool.

Rude staff and long wait. People fell asleep in the waiting room. Took 2 1/2 hours. Doctor leaves patient doors open where I could hear the doctor and staff interact with other patients.
