ER with pneumonia after 5 hours in Urgent care. Efficient, to the point and knew what he was going to do.

My 67 yo husband with a heart condition went to St Jude ER via ambulance with a diagnosis of Covid and Covid Pneumonia for 3 weeks and a continuous harsh cough that had kept him unable to sleep. After waiting 6 hours in a hard chair in a room full of other very sick people, he was quickly seen Dr. Song who seemed annoyed that he was even there. His only instructions were to “go tough it out at home”. No instructions, no meds, no true care. Only a Covid Pneumonia diagnosis. A few days later we were encouraged by a friend to go to Hoag ER in Irvine where they were very impacted by Covid patients as well but much more organized, prepared, and with compassionate care. My husband was admitted, and had three specialists assigned to his case. He was also diagnosed with a cavatory walled off ball of infection as well. They found what needed to be done and now after one week in critical care he is at home recovering. Sr. Song basically sent him home to risk dying with no treatment whatsoever.
