Dr. Errol Korn, MD

After some 60 years of co-existing with Crohn’s, I appreciate Dr. Koran’s blunt and to the point approach . He listens… Too bad his office staff is not so efficient.

He was not up to date on my test results prescribing medicine that I did not need. When I ended up in emergency in another hospital they took the medicine away from me and treated me as the scans had shown on 5 different scans at Sharps. I have been well now for over a year. This man absolutely should not be in business.

I haven’t even able to make an appointment. The person who answered my call is devoid of phone ethics. As if she doesn’t want my business. I called on November 29 at 1115 and she asked when my authorization was faxed. I said I have no idea since I requested Dr Korns office as a new provider. She doesn’t even want to entertain my call. No help was offered to find my authorization letter so I’m getting another provider. No wonder they have such low ratings. First point of contact was already extremely disappointing already. What more when I do actual appointments.

If I could I would leave a negative rating. I am not usually one to leave bad reviews or file complaints especially against fellow professionals but after a string of misconduct by Dr. Korn, it is only right to let people know. First, Dr. Korn has been late to several appointments, once he was about 45 minutes late. It is highly disrespectful of someone's time to show up that late to a professional meeting and not even apologize. On another visit, he berated my mother for not having gotten the vaccine even though there are medical reasons. Then recently, she had an endoscopy scheduled so got a COVID test and two days before we happened to call the office to schedule a follow up appointment and the office staff rudely and unapologetically informed us the doctor cancelled so we will need to reschedule and get another COVID test. Korn also uses a dictation machine for patient notes so that everybody in the office can hear all confidential patient info. Avoid this place at all cost.

Staff friendly and nice but extremely loud???? Ok for me but for someone who is sick would be annoying! Waited about 45 minutes. That causes some anxiety which I already have??

Dr. Korn is not just the finest physician I have ever dealt with. He is also one of the finest persons I have ever known and a number of levels. I have been a patient of his since 1973. He was the only doctor who diagnosted my issues. As a Crohn's Disease sufferer, I have put Dr. Korn through a series of life-threatening, life altering, emotional situations. With kindness, frankness, empathy, and support, he saw me through decades of illness. He challenged existing medical thinking! Thank U, Dr.
