Dr. Erol Yoldas, MD

I spent 5 weeks complaining of severe pain that came 1 week after surgery. I told the nurse over & over I felt like a tendon, tissue or muscle was getting “CAUGHT” on a razor sharp nailhead & sliced. There was clicking, popping, grinding & snapping pain. Yoldas treated me by phone through his nurse for 5 weeks & did not see me. He ran out of suggestions & sees me. He blames the pain on SCAR TISSUE. He states a cortisone injection is the answer and I must “work through” the therapy pain. The injection does nothing so I start all over again with the same phone suggestions via Yoldas. My therapist calls Yoldas & he finally orders an MRI. The nurse calls with my MRI result-ONE ANCHOR HAS BACKED OUT OF THE BONE. I'm told to book my 2nd surgery for the following week & Yoldas does not need to see me. I get a 2nd opinion who reviews the MRI & sees that BOTH ANCHORS BACKED OUT and states I now have developed a frozen shoulder. She does another surgery and addresses the anchors & other issues.

Absolutely impossible to get through their phone system to speak to a human or accomplish anything. I have left 3 messages over the last 2 weeks---no call back. If through some miracle you get a live human on the phone they then transfer you to another number that (1) does not pick up and (2) will NOT return a voicemail. Can't speak to the quality of care as I was unable to obtain treatment following the initial consult and several weeks of trying to follow up with them. Grossly unprofessional.

After 11 days after surgery I feel amazing! No pain , i back on bicicle and do motion, leg pess 400 pounds ,, Dr Yoldas is the man ! I did my both , I don’t like even lol

Excellent work & attention to detail. No nonsense approach was appreciated. Rotator cuff, bone spur & frozen shoulder. Surgery on Wednesday & moving around good on Friday. Thank you!

Dr Yoldas and his staff were fantastic.I am a 53 year old avid volleyball and basketball player. I had a serious knee injury and Dr Yoldas helped me through every step of the recovery process. He explained things very clearly and always made me feel comfortable and optimistic

Dr. Yoldas and his team first operated on me in 2002, and 2 more times since. All procedures have been a major success, I have no lingering issues. He repaired my right knee and both shoulders and I have none of the complaints I hear other people complain about after having shoulder or knee repair. Very trustworthy and overall awesome person with an exceptional staff as well. I’ve recommended Dr. Yoldas many times and have always received positive feedback. Hopefully will not need his services again, but comforting knowing i have the best orthopedic surgeon in south Florida just in case I do :-)

Started using Dr. Yoldas 17 years ago. He is one of the best surgeons I know. I used him for two surgeries and can say I had no pain either time. Dr. Yoldas is compassionate, honest and a truly gifted physician.

Dr. Yoldas performed two surgeries on me, one in October 2019 (shoulder) and one in December 2019 (knee). I have had my fair of surgeries and researched who I thought was best in Florida. My previous surgeries were in Colorado at The Steadman Clinic. Dr. Yoldas did his fellowship there (and Dr. Hackett from The Steadman Clinic told me that Dr, Yoldas has a stellar reputation). Very pleased with Dr. Yoldas and my results. Digressing, I have had lots of surgeries but only one for each specific injury. If you choose the right Doctor, you will heal better, faster and be in a much better place. Even the physical therapists can tell if you had surgery with a top Doctor (i.e., my knee and shoulder glide much better and I heal much quicker). Thank you Dr. Yoldas!

Dr. Yoldas was recommended to me by several people when I was having knee issues. Not being a long time resident of South Florida I relied on word of mouth and I can say that Dr. Yoldas and his staff are first class all the way! I am thrilled with how my knee has progressed after Micro Fracture Surgery and I will without a doubt send friends and family with orthopedic injuries to Dr. Yoldas. He is the BEST!

Dr Yoldas and his entire PT team are amazing! Be sure to do the full amount of PT with his great team after your surgery! It will make a BIG difference in your recovery time & the results.

After seeing two Orthopedic surgeons and walking around on a very unstable knee for three months, I finally was recommended to see Dr. Yoldas! Within minutes of talking to me he had confirmed what I thought my original diagnosis was: ACL tear. I was scheduled for surgery within a week and I am so happy with the results. Dr Yoldas first treated one of my knees Twenty (20) years, so when I jumped into my pool with my granddaughter on my hip & in mid air heard/felt a pop... this time a Right medial meniscus horizontal tear to the posterior horn...I only thought of Dr Yoldas. He scoped my knee on 8/15/19, on 8/21/19, I put a support on it & went deep sea charter fishing, & on 9/9/19 went back to work full time. His physical therapy department is tops! I highly recommend Dr Yoldas, his bed side manor is only surpassed by his surgical expertise.

Fixed a torn miniscus in my right knee that was torn in 3 different places. Another doctor I had look at my knee before I saw Dr. Yoldas told me he had to remove the entire meniscus. Always good to get a second opinion. I had this repair done a few years ago and the knee has been great, no problems. So when I tore my right rotator cuff, a complete tear, I didn't even consider another doctor. Dr Yoldas did another great job on my shoulder and after a long rehab I have complete range of motion.

I was familiar with Dr. Yoldas since he performed knee surgery on my daughter. Having met him at that time, he left a very positive impression. When it was time for me to have surgery for a complete tear in my right rotator cuff, I decided to go with Dr. Yoldas. Each and every person I met before, during and after my surgery far exceeded all my expectations.
