Dr. Hofer was very pleasant, efficient and she went over the treatment plan with us.

I have NEVER thought I would have a positive hospital experience since I had a very horrible one as a child. I was hospitalized for the exact same thing, after a car crash. Dr. Hofer is not only beautiful, but helps me understand every detail, every course of action, all options, and she’s VERY patient. I hear I was out of it, and I can only imagine my paranoia. I was afraid to go into surgery at certain times and she waited. The medical field needs more Docs like Erin! The entire staff at Skyline Tri-Star have been so joyful and helpful. I’m grateful I was treated with such care. Thank you all so much. CHHHHAAAARRRLLLESSSS YO LUNCH IS REEEADDDYYY!!!!

Explained and answered all questions

Dr. Hofer is very detailed and thorough. She listens intently to your concerns and answers any questions you may have. Enjoyable visit.

My surgery experience with this doctor and her team has been traumatic. I have never before received such irresponsible care after a surgery. I am shocked. And feeling betrayed, because I thought very highly of Dr. Hofer. The state I was discharged and have been left in is absolutely barbaric and dangerous. There is a serious lack of awareness and empathy from Dr. Hofer’s surgical team and hospital. I would have glady found a different surgeon if I had known that I would be denied appropriate post op pain management. Telling me that my surgery was “minor” and I “should not be in this much pain” is gaslighting and invalidating me. I did not expect that from Dr. Hofer. It’s completely inappropriate. You have no way of knowing how much pain I might be in unless you’ve been in my exact situation yourself. I am a former medical professional. I know that there are no restrictions on this doctor that prevent her from prescribing an adequate level of pain relief post op. My pain was simply not being taken seriously due to her personal assumption of what it “should” be. Even with the awareness that I have an extremely painful connective tissue disorder that causes poor wound healing and skeletal pain. She just removed 19 year old screws from my femur. This has been extremely distressing for me, and Dr. Hofer’s team has treated me like a lunatic for advocating for what I’ve needed (and was their job to provide). It’s not okay.

Very kind, informative

Dr. Hofer looked at my leg, which a plate and screw was placed in my lower femur. It was healed. She determined to operate on my incision. I am a slow healer with many immune disorders. She listened to me and gave me good advice on what she would do if it was one of her family members.

Kind, professional and very good

I was admitted on 11/11/2023 at Skyline hospital trauma center due to motorcycle accident which caused broken and separated pelvic. Dr. Hofer and her team did an incredible job connected the separated pelvic together, stopped internal bleeding and reconstruct left shattered pelvic. she has performed a miracle in my book. Furthermore, I did some research on my own to find out the extend and critical life threating surgery that was performed on me by Dr. Hofer and her team which has saved my life. Nevertheless, looking back I have a different perspective and gratitude for folks in medical field whom they save lives. I am thankful for such professionals tend to me where I needed them the most.
