I met Dr. Petersen when I was being treated for metastatic lung cancer. This involved 6 brain tumors. Dr. Petersen at UAMS was my first neurosurgeon. Dr. Petersen & her team treated my tumors using GammaKnife Radiation. It was an amazing success! She was an excellent Dr and a compassionate person. I was fortunate to have access to her skills. I was even more impressed when after time one of my brain tumors came back & surgery was required. The tumor was deep & in risky area for surgery. Dr. Petersen immediately spoke with the neurosurgeon trained to surgically tackle the most difficult brain tumors. I was in surgery the following week! Huge success! I owe Dr. Petersen a huge debt of gratitude!
