Horrible experience. Treated me like I was the problem when I was in severe pain for months. Ended up in 2 surgeries thanks to his lack of attention. He had more interest in his vacation!

The office staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. One of the first things I noticed was that he was irritated, bothered, and rushed, possibly by personal stress or the number of clients he had booked for the day. He seemed not to like the position I was lying on the dental chair and asked me rudely to “scoot down; you have to scoot down!” with the dental assistant also repeating the exact request afterward. I understood the reasoning behind his request and quickly moved down the chair to be in the preferred position. I never received any prescription of any type for aftercare. As of May 17, 2023, I am dealing with noticeably inflamed and soar gums at the location where the tooth was extracted and intermittent pain at this location. I will not return to this provider due to my rushed and uncaring experience on April 28, 2023. I am thankful for the needed procedure, but I feel this could have been handled in a less rushed and more empathetic way.

Disgusted
My son had an appointment with Dr. Sayles for evaluation of wisdom teeth removal. He walked into the room and without introducing himself, asks if we have any questions, before he even started explaining the procedure. He then, without washing his hands or putting on gloves, grabs a tongue depressor, and looks into my son's mouth! I was speechless! And this doctor was coughing. Although the doctor was wearing a mask, he pulled the mask down to talk to us. And we heard him coughing incessantly while we were waiting in the waiting and exam rooms. He hands me a consent form to sign and leaves the room. His assistant comes back a few minutes later for the consent form. Seriously? I told her that I am a nurse, the doctor is not touching my son ever again, and that there are multiple red flags everywhere. She escorts us out of the room, throws the clipboard on the desk, and says that I am refusing surgery. Unbelievable unprofessionalism! Stay away!

I had a flap on my inner lip from biting. It kept getting caught when I ate. It hurt. I needed an oral surgeon to remove it. I found Dr. Sayles to be polite and confident in what needed to be done. His staff was friendly. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment or waiting to be seen. We scheduled the surgery for a later date. While I am not a fan of numbing my lip it didn’t really hurt. He used a topical anesthetic first and then stuck me with the needle. The surgery was quick and painless. Dr. Sayles advised the tissue would be sent for analysis. I really appreciated that. A follow up two weeks later showed there wasn’t anything to be concerned about. The recovery was good. The stitches dissolved quickly. And all is good with a flat lip again! Thank you Dr. Sayles!

Terrible oral surgeon do not bother. The doctor will rush each visit to quickly make his money and move on. The surgery left complications that had to be fixed by a more competent doctor.

Heard my son screaming in pain, twice! The doctor came out after I rushed to the back on that second scream and had the nerve to tell me that my son was in no pain! He extracted one of the two teeth, n I got out of there! My son is traumatized and remembers everything and felt everything!! I was shaking and crying from hearing my son scream in pain, The receptionist did more comforting then anyone else in that office! That dr could care less of the trauma he just caused my son because according to him my son was “ in no pain”

Everyone has an opinion! Sometimes we take the time to voice it. For me, my experience with the ‘before I received Dr. Sayles services’, was time filled with overwhelming anxiety and fear of the unknown. After all, who wants to go to a dentist, anyway? Especially a Surgeon! My experience with 'after I received Dr. Sayles services', was relief because he was professional, informative and skilled! That’s Huge! He gained my trust and for that, I am grateful. I sincerely thanked him. And I Thank you for reading this! I hope it helps.

I had a consult with Dr. Sayles a couple weeks ago. I need to get four teeth extracted. I have had some pretty traumatic experiences with dentists when I was younger. As a result, I have a great deal of anxiety & fear when it comes to dental procedures. Dr. Sayles did nothing but stoke those fears. The staff & his assistant were lovely. No issues there. Dr. Sayles, however, seemed like he was in a HUGE rush. He didn't even introduce himself to me and he spoke so fast I barely had time to digest what he was telling me. He took one look at my x-rays and asked me if I had any interest in saving any of my teeth that were due to be extracted. I said "Well, yes -- I was hoping that we could save the back left tooth if possible" He then replied with "eeehhhh we'll just take em' all out".....ok? Why did you even ask me that question, then? He was so rushed and spoke so fast that I felt uncomfortable asking him any more questions. This guy has no "bedside" manner at all. Suffice it to say that

I had 17 teeth pulled out today by Dr Sayles and he is one of the best doctors I have ever experienced. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable and then he got to work and it was impressive. He had all of the teeth extracted and stiched up within a half hour. I would recommend him to anyone, anytime. I never will have to again, but if I had to do it all over again, I would, and I would choose him all over again.

I was very satisfied with the procedure I had. I went into this very nervous and anxious and I have to say Dr. Sayles was very professional and caring. The staff there is also very helpful and kind. I was in a lot of pain and he put me on antibiotics and had me come back a week later to do the extraction. It took what seemed like seconds for him to pull my back molar out. What a relief! I had no problems with bleeding or soreness after. I would highly recommend him.

I had some misgivings going in due to some low reviews I had read online, but I was seen in a timely manner, and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Doctor Sayles explained every step of the procedures he was about to do. He was personable, professional and efficient during my extraction and bone graft. Everything went as could be expected. He gave me information on what to expect and detailed instructions for aftercare. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
