Horrible Practice
Worse practice I've ever dealt with, the medical staff is ok when you deal directly with them, the admin staff sucks! I've never dealt with a practice in which the telephone operator goes over the results of test. With this practice I'd not be surprised if I got a call from the telephone operator saying "Sorry you only have 6 months to live". This review was prompted by past experience and lately I've been waiting over 3 days for a call-back. Save yourself some grief, don't use this practice. Look at the reviews and the 3.0 rating...obviously there are problems and worse they aren't being addressed.

Do not recommend
We have been patients for a while and have never felt comfortable with him. He doesn't appear to want to take care of older patients and never gives a thorough or even a halfway decent exam regardless of the problem one may be having. I was supposed to receive a breast exam in order to get my mammogram and he performed the exam through my clothing. No one in this office wears a mask even though all of the other medical offices we have been to recently have a mask requirement.

Despite being assigned to Dr. Palmer via my insurance company when I called regarding a positive COVID test I was told to just go to Urgent Care because he wasn't accepting new patients.

The staff is outrageous!! They don't listen and don't do what they say. Many medication delays because they don't respond. They are untruthful and skirt issues. They claim requests have been send and they weren't. Today as I spoke to one of them about because they called me about a lab request. I advised the voice mail they were talking about was one week ago. AND if I didn't like what they were doing that I should see another provider if I wanted! Nice customer service Dr. Palmer. When will you lean that your staff is the worst I've ever experienced!!!! How sad!

No, I would not recommend. Poor office staff, unreasonable requirements signing away your rights, i. e. arbitration. Non caring attitude, refusing care, on and on. Stay away.

His staff is unprofessional, can't get a callback nor an appointment. I have to use this doctor because my insurance forced me to use him, but if you can choose a doctor. Please choose a different doctor

His staff is young and very inexperienced and do not care. Prescriptions, tests, labs, and most of all results are never on time. You (patient) must call and call and call and call and they are still told the results aren't in yet, without looking for them. I have called right back and got someone else and they looked them up. The Billing is just as bad.

If you’re looking for a doctor who gives you personal attention and has an organized office staff, Dr. Palmer is not for you. After two years, my level of frustration was so high that I transferred to another doctor. Incompetent office staff consistently screws up referrals and medical reports. Every time I call the office I was put you on hold 10 -15 minutes. Good luck trying to reach them. Most the time when I call the phone just rings and nobody answers. They take long extended lunch breaks and forget to turn on the answering service. The most incompetent office staff I have ever dealt with. In the two years that I have been one of Dr. Palmer‘s patients, I’ve seen once. I like to call him the absent doctor. I don’t recommend.

Dr Palmer has been my doctor for years. He is a amazing doctor and cares about his patients. About a year ago I went to Desert Regional for diverticulitis and they ended up sending me home. I could not take the pain anymore so I went to see Dr Palmer. He literally walk over to the Hospital across the street to have me admitted to the hospital. He definitely goes above and beyond for his patients. the office staff is great. As soon as they have a answer for you, they call me back.

Dissatisfied with the care I received, unable to reach the doctor himself. Called about an urgent matter and was given no return call. Went to the office and was told "I'm sorry Dr. Palmer does not make phone calls. Three days later I'm in emergency surgery at Eisenhower. PA's are great for a cold, but I needed to talk to my doctor, not be told I had food poisoning.

Complete and total frustration with this office. No-one returns calls; lab tests are not ordered timely and results not shared unless you call and beg. Staff either does not know or not understand referral procedures. It was a gigantic headache dealing with this office. Dr. Palmer is nice but does not follow through. We have changed physicians and the difference is amazing.
