Dr. Erik Davis, MD

I was scheduled for 7am. Finally got called back 830. Just to wait another hour have IV put in for nothing. Dr Davis walked in did not tell me who he was. Caught a huge attitude with me when I said 2 words. And canceled my procedure after name dropping a dr that I had reported to the state board so I know it was retaliation for that because I am guessing they’ are friends.Horrible experience, would literally recommend anyone but him. He is rude and disrespectful and I would never trust him around my spine and neither should you.

I never dreamed as a 55 year old woman with osteoarthritis, a prosthetic disc in my neck, neuropathy, fibromyalgia and a host of other various ailments that a Dr. would just let his patient stay in constant pain like this daily and not even actually SEE HIS patient. I get it’s more $ for him to have a NP see patients while he sees his chosen patients and does procedures and after all it is all about $ in this world. But it should also be about ETHICS and OATHS taken by doctors to treat their patients properly and not allow them to be in this type of constant pain daily. I will never understand how a Dr. can sleep at night practicing in that manner.

Horrible! Surgery scheduled. After getting there & IV started then surgery was cancelled. Apparently needed cardiac clearance & preop nurse missed. Only after knowledgeable person reviewed chart did they tell us he needed cardiac clearance. When finally got surgery it was completely ineffective. Follow-ups are not in a timely fashion. Injections needed. Saw PA & follow with Dr. over to months to schedule injection. Got another physician to care for him in a timely fashion. Worst experience ever with a doctor.

I've had more then two dozen surgeries in the last 10 years that had me in allot of pain. I went to different Drs looking for help with many only giving me literally seconds of their time. Dr Davis has been the best and first time in a long time I feel ok. Other Drs just wrote a prescription and collected their money but Dr Davis had me do X-rays, MRI, physical therapy, nerve burns, epidurals with medicine. I've had dozens of Drs and he is easily my favorite.

This Gentleman is a great person and very perfesional at what he and the staff does. Great Team !

Dr. Davis has an amazing bedside manner as well as listens to you & understands your health issues. He has the experience and knowledge to know what approach to take to help you. I just started with him not long ago, but so far I’m very pleased with the approach he is taking to get my neck and back better. I am truly pleased.

Well, I went see Dr Erik Davis last week n my experience there was totally awesome… he listen to all I had to say about my issues n he answered all my questions n he recommended a few options n for that I highly recommend him, his check in staff was ver nice the staff in the back was friendly as well. ……

It was horrible visit with him... he is a horrible, also unprofessional and rude. He should not be able to work with people ..maybe in the background or in a lab.

Save your time and money. He’s a quack. And the PA he’s got running like arms on a puppet is more of a joke. I went in complaining of my shoulder and arm hurting and left with an order for an MRI of my lower back. Ding ding ding!! There’s your sign.

after i tell him ive got PTSD please stop yelling in this little room. he dominates people he dont like the looks of.

Run away as fast as you can. Dr. Davis is the rudest, most arrogant physician I have ever encountered. I was a patient who wanted to understand my back problems & the treatment plan in layman's terms. I did not expect brochures given to me in lieu of answering my questions. Once treatment began, there was 50 days between exploratory injections due to scheduling conflicts on the physician's part. That's 50 days of being in severe pain. When I politely questioned this, Dr. Davis's true personality came forth in the most aggressive, angry manner. Perhaps he helps some pain patients, but there are many Pain Management doctors who are thorough & successful, yet are compassionate & make sure questions are answered completely without verbally abusing patients.

Dr. Davis really provided great pain relief with my spinal stenosis. He gave me a pain relieving epidural that has worked wonders. Thank you, Dr. Davis.

Extremely rude and does not seem interested in building doctor patient rapport. Does not explain findings in detail unless prompted to. Even then he will give a vague overview and will prescribe medication or injection. Rarely have I ever dealt with such crass and unprofessionalism.

Dr. Davis is a great Doctor I would recommend him to family and friends however his staff well they get a big F- and forget about the office manager does not follow through with anything doesn’t return phone calls in my eyes they need to replace the office manager and get someone in there that will do the job correctly.......

Dr Davis and his staff are absolutely dedicated to finding the problem/source of your pain and dealing with it in the MOST noninvasive method. Your health and well being are a priority. You fell like you are the only person they see that day. Always has time to listen and answer any questions you might have. I would highly recommend Dr Davis and his staff to anyone who is in pain and suffering. Great Dr and wonderful staff. Stan Hatcher MSN,RN,FNP-C is absolutely a wonderful asset to this Practice.

Excellent experience with both the staff and the doctor!

He was the on call doctor today for the office I usually go to in Alexandria. I am going on three days with a migraine and had run out of migraine medication and can’t afford an ER visit. He said he only calls in prescriptions for his own patients....isn’t the point of being on call to be able to help or attempt to help anyone who calls? He told me to go to the ER or suffer until Monday to call my regular doctor. Feel sorry for his regular patients who have to deal with him.

Very poor bedside manor. Very Rude. As a long term chronic pain patient, I would not recommend Dr.Davis to any patient that is use to asking questions to providers or is an advocate for your own health. Went into appt hopeful to establish a new provider relationship left in tears. He was rude and uncaring of my needs as a patient. No one should be yelled at, disrespected, and dismissed by a health provider. My health is my priority, his priority was moving to his next appt.

Great Doctor who came highly recommended by one of my other doctors. I feel confident about a couple of procedures I have coming up.
