An amazing provider!
I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Bayona. He is a very down-to-earth and relatable provider, which is not always easy to find in a psychiatrist. He takes the time to explain different treatment options and sends information and videos for more in-depth treatment options. I engaged in ketamine sessions with him and truly felt that he was fully invested in his patients and their well-being. I was sad to lose him as a provider in Pullman. It can be hard to connect with a mental health provider, as there has to be trust on the side of the patient to open up and be ready and willing to hear hard truths and share personal details. As a female patient seeing a male provider, I felt respected and heard, he is easy to talk to and has a laid-back demeanor. I cannot thank him enough for the help and support he provided for me.

Great Psychiatrist
Dr. Bayona is caring and easy to talk to. He specializes in psychotherapy and medication management - a welcome change from other psychiatrists and NPs I have seen in the past. I highly recommend him.

Don't waste your time, energy or money.
I am a torture survivor. I scheduled a total of three appointments with Dr. Bayona. The first one, he told me he wouldn't be in a room alone with me and told me I had to make someone spend 2 hours in therapy with me if I wanted this to work and ended with a leading question, 'You DON'T want to schedule a follow-up, right?' He blew me off when I told him it felt like he was scared of me when I have no history of violence and am a 5ft female. The second appointment, he canceled the day before citing I hadn't gotten another therapist he had recommended (another one of his requirements) because he talked to the person in question and she said no when I had and have yet received any communication from said therapist to date. The third appointment, nothing had changed therapist wise but he decided to charge me for the visit in which he tells me he is moving while talking at me for 40 min about ketamine treatment I now am unable to receive since, he's moving and has no plan for referring.
