Great care
I have been a patient of Dr Barrett for over 7 years. The office is professional and caring and when it came time for cataract surgery, Dr Barrett explained all my options and costs and what to expect before, during and after surgery. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The surgery center was great-everyone made the procedure easy and comfortable.Highly recommend!!

Did not have a good experience visiting Dr. Barrett office today. The tech spent 3 minutes and then wrote prescription for my glasses. Dr. spent about 6 minutes examining my eyes. On my way out, they took picture of eyes and charged me $50 (extra) saying the insurance does not pay for this. He should refund me this extra charge (taking picture after examination does not make a sense).

My parents have been patients here for many years. Yesterday, after having had an appointment scheduled for about a month, and after receiving a confirmation phone call the previous business day, upon arrival for her appointment we were informed that my mother would not be seen then or ever because she is eligible for Medicaid. She also has private insurance which has been accepted here for years. If these folks want deny service to elderly people who have faithfully paid their taxes for an entire lifetime over having to do some paperwork- well fine. As unpatriotic, heartless and classless as that is I suppose it’s their decision. However waiting until I took a day off of work, and made a four hour round trip with my wheelchair bound mother was totally uncalled for and unprofessional. Although I believe Dr. Barrett is a fine physician, there is no excuse for the office treating people this way. I would suggest steering your dollars to an office with a little more integrity.

Dr. Barrett is an excellent Ophthalmologist. He performed my cataract and refractory surgery with bifocal lenses in both eyes. Now my eye test shows I have 20/15 vision in both eyes (better than perfect). I cant be happier. Dr. Barrett has a wonderful, friendly bedside manner. His office staff is excellent. Thank you for giving me the eyeglass free sight I now enjoy. Nancy Wolf 6/28/19
