Worst doctor ever!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM
I was referred to this doctor and the first visit I had he saw me for 2 mins and left. My follow up visit a nurse took my pressure and it was very high and I had asked if he can recheck it and he told me off saying I shouldn’t tell him what to do he clearly has a complex! And he went on and on about how he wouldn’t retest it and how a pressure of 140/100 is normal. I also felt terrible during the visit, he made me more anxious, didn’t look at me once, his back was faced to me, or even discuss my test results. He was nasty to my mother who was showing concern for me and asking him some questions and he told me I should go else where since I’m upset, I’m too complicated and that he’s not a cardiologist ??? Isn’t an electrophysiologist a cardiologist in a specialized field?? And how is a fast heart rate and blood pressure too complicated? And why is retaking my blood pressure a difficult request? His bedside manner is truly disgusting and he clearly does not care about his patients.

I went to visit dr altman. He basically did not care about what I have to ask about my condition. I have a heart condition and had few questions regarding pace maker and ILR device. He was not interested to answer my questions. He then sends a PA to answer my questions and concern about my well being. If PA was/is more qualified than him, i would have him see me instead of dr Altman. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not care about his patients health/well being. His PA tells me “he is busy and doesn’t have time to answer your explain to you about different type of pacemaker or ILR Device

Dr. Altman performed a simultaneous cardiac ablation and Watchman on me 3 months ago. Everything went extremely well, and I no longer have Afib. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Altman is my hero!

Dr Altman is very knowledgable & skilled but also is a very caring, kind, & compassionate doctor. When I am not feeling well he always fits me into his busy schedule & calls me back in a timely manner when I have any questions. I have seen a few different EP doctors while admitted in the hospital but always remain a patient of his. He is extremely thorough.I highly recommend. Also, I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Doctors cannot always help this but I'm always amazed!

I am a 25 year old male. I had multiple SVTs with a resting heart rate of over 200. Dr. Altman did an EP study, diagnosed Wolfe-Parkinson-White & did a Cardio Ablation. Today, I am fine, symptom-free & 'cured.' I highly recommend Dr. Altman. He really cares about his patients. I had a lot of confidence in his diagnosis & treatment plan. At my 6-month follow-up today, I think he was happier than me to see my perfect EKG. He gave me back the ability to live a normal life & I am very grateful.
