Hopes for Help or Healing Hampered Hastily!!!
Didn’t see the doctor until almost half hour after my scheduled appointment time. Then, he never even acknowledged his lateness, and just hastily breezed through my exam, test results, and a couple possible methods to manage symptoms- All within 12 minutes total that he actually spent with me. Very unclear explanations of condition and prognosis. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like I gained anything of value by having the diagnostic tests nor coming for the follow up visit to find out results!

Wonderful doctor
Very compassionate. Listens to concerns. Very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. He previously replaced my one knee and will be doing my other knee in the Fall.

Dr explained my shoulder problem and the best way.
Dr Thiel explained everything in a way. I could understand. Was very knowledgeable in the best way to treat my problem and what sort of outcome I could expect.

Visit
Met with Dr. Thiel this morning. Check in was efficient, Nurse taking my information prior to the doctor coming into the room was professional and thorough. Dr. Thiel explained the issues I was having with my knee and gave me two options to correct the damage. The doctor explained both options so I could make an informed decision as to what I was going to do. The nurse assisting with scheduling the surgery was very nice and professional. The entire experience with the doctor and his staff was very positive.

I had a 100% excellent knee replacement experience with Dr. Thiel. My knee replacement from start to finish went very smoothly! Very little after surgery pain and I had 114 flexion 3 days after surgery. I could straighten my knee flat on the table 3 days after surgery too. Highly recommend!

Professional and Personable
Dr. Thiel reviewed my history before initial appointment. He listened to me about my situation. He provided his assessment and recommendations. His confidence was reassuring that he could get me back to a level where I could continue my physically demanding career. Dr. Thiel explained the process well allowing me to ask questions to clarify and understand. Seventeen days post surgery from knee replacement and recovery is going well! I really like Dr. Thiel's positive energy and caring demeanor. I will be recommending him to friends in the future.
