This doctor is very rude and unprofessional he wasn't concerned at all about addressing my medical problems but continued to ask me all sorts of questions that had nothing to do with my medical problems or why I was referred there , this doctor is old, tired, run down and has completely lost out of touch with reality.

I was referred to Dr. Sobel from my healthcare doctor to get a better opinion and care. I had spent three hours sitting and waiting in his office for Dr. Sabel to see me after driving to the hospital for more than 1 hour yesterday. When he finally came to see me, he had spent no more than 20 minutes with me after all the waiting. I felt that he was not interested in helping me to manage/mitigate my pain caused by RA/OA arthritis in spine and cervical spine, nor did he offer me any suggestions, therapies or medication. Dr. Sabel didn't even ask where all the pain locations were to consider how they might be related to RA/OA. I was hoping to establish a base line of my problem in the initial appointment, but no follow up was offered, either. It was a total waste of my time.

Dr Sobel is a kind and caring physician. He listens to my every word and spends time getting to know me and my situation. You couldn’t ask for a more compassionate physician. He truly cares about his patients and that’s half the battle. Would recommend him highly.

Dr Sobel has been my rheumatologist for over 10 years and has taken more time with me to figure out my condition than any other physician. I am in a good place now and it all thanks to Dr Sobel. There is no one better. !

The Worst, truly. I went to him for progressively worsening back pain and he gave me a referral to psychiatry. I'm serious. Then, I find out six months and one fractured vertebrae later that I have a pretty serious spine condition. And yes, the fracture could've been prevented had "Dr" Sobel offered me even five sincere moments of his time. Please respect yourself enough to find a different doctor. You deserve better.

It took months to get an appointment; I had to drive 4 hours each way. I was referred to him to rule out 2-3 specific autoimmune diseases. He seemed compassionate, but he only wrote my referring physician a note suggesting that I try a 2 week course of anti-depressants for fatigue! I was beyond disappointed. I am confused why he did not order other tests, or at least research the diagnosis I had been given and see that it comes with debilitating fatigue! Complete waste of time!

He ran some tests on my son and didn't bother with a follow up to go over the results. I had to look online for the results. Seems he has no interest in treating and caring for patients.
