Dr Shirley did a fantastic job caring for my son after a complicated ACL tear. He went out of his way to work closely with my son’s original surgeon and then to provide care closer to home for us. Dr Shirley worked hard to get my kid back to the things that he loves without letting him injure himself again by going too quickly in the healing process. Dr Shirley was prompt in getting us the appointments and referrals that we needed through this whole process, and we were really grateful to have him as a part of our health care team.

His was professional and caring for his patients. All around great guy. Made my whole surgery and limdu experience very enjoyable and better then most of the people I worked with that had got surgery from others doctors.

He is well seasoned in his field and is extremely knowledgeable. I trust that the medical opinion from him is thorough and in the best interest of my child. My boys have seen Doctor Shirley for multiple knee injuries (dislocation and ligament repair). He has always been very thorough, takes time to explain the injury and treatment options. Doctor Shirley and his staff are a great team and would recommend him. He is very approachable, knowledgeable, kind, and is great with his patients and family’s.

Dr. Shirley preformed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery on my teenage daughter who plays competitive soccer. Her surgery went well with zero complications and she was able to continue playing soccer competitively for 2 more years. After that she was able to enlist into the Air Force without any issues. Dr. Shirley has excellent bedside manner and had no problem going back and forth with our insurance company to get something covered that my daughter needed during her rehabilitation process. If you are looking for an excellent doctor who has great bedside manner, listens, answers questions and just so happens to be an outstanding surgeon.. Dr. Shirley is that guy.

My daughter saw Dr. Shirley after a knee injury. He made us feel like we were in his personal care, and that he would take care of everything. He thoroughly explained the XRay and CT scan results, in a way that was understood by my daughter and I. He gave my daughter a great knee brace to keep her knee stable, and put in a referral for Physical Therapy. He called me on my cell phone a few times, after hours, which shows his level of care and dedication. He is a great doctor and all of his patients are in good hands.

Dr. Shirley has been amazing! Our daughter has been seeing him for more than 3 years. He is thorough, kind, and speaks in terms that are easy to understand. We now travel over 2 hours to see him!

We met Dr Shirley after my daughter, who is disabled broke her hip and was brushed off by another facility. Dr Shirley was beyond fabulous, he even came into the xray to get the X-ray he wanted. He operated on Amanda and has followed her ever since and I am beyond grateful. He understands her needs and as a mom of a disabled daughter he understands me when we talk!! I can not recommend him enough! He goes beyond for his patients.
