Dr. Shapiro is an outstanding Doctor with credentials to match ! He is an excellent surgeon who cares about his patients . I was shocked when he called me while on his vacation to see how I was feeling ….How many doctors do that these days ? That’s old school and just goes to show you how caring and concerned he is about your welfare. I wanted the best and I got the best ! Thanks to him , I’m a new person !

Dr Shapiro is a fine Orthopedic Surgeon with exceptional credentials that is NOT eager to preform surgery unless it is absolutely essential! He listens and understands his patients…. You won’t be sorry about choosing Dr. Shapiro ….He takes time to listen and solves the problem if possible !

Dr Eric Shapiro did what I thought was impossible.
I had been in pain for over two years. Any and everything I tried. I couldn't do anything that I enjoyed. The surgery I needed to have done was a very difficult surgery. No one wanted to take the chance. Dr Shapiro did what no one else would and now I am in no pain, can move my arm above my head and enjoying life so much more. He cut off the end of my collar bone off and had to guide all the ligaments and such back through new holes that he put in my collar bone. I don't understand it all or can remember the name of the surgery, but I sure am so grateful to Dr Shapiro for the care he gave. Just a wonderful atmosphere to be around including staff. I thank you very much.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Shapiro did not rush to do surgery. He gave it some time to heal. When it did not heal, he performed arthroscopic surgery. After four weeks, all pain is gone. Excellent results. Dr. Shapiro clearly explained my injury, my options and provided very good guidance. Office staff is very efficient and friendly.

When I booked my appointment I asked for the first appointment after lunch because I did not want to wait too long after sitting in the lobby for an hour went up to the receptionist desk to find out there's three more patients in front of me and he was in a room with another patient really this would've headed into two hours

Dr Shapiro treated and then operated on my shoulder after discovering multiple issues with my rotator cuff, bone spur, arthritis , and bicep tear. Recovery time was slow but exactly as he forecast. Today I am fully active with no issues. Thank you dr Shapiro.

I visited Dr. Shapiro a month ago. I had a very short wait to see him. I was very impressed from the beginning because he welcomed using my previous x-rays rather than expose me to additional radiation. I watched as he thoroughly studied the x-rays and commented about what he saw. He explained everything as he progressed and after he was done with the x-rays. I was again very impressed with his explanation on how to proceed. He did a through evaluation and measured my shoulder's poor range of motion. He recommended I have a Cortisone shot and after discussion I agreed with him. After the shot and while I was laying on the table he raised my arm and slowly began to push my arm back to the point of pain but successfully increasing my range of motion. When I left his office, I had close to no pain. I could not have been more satisfied with the entire experience. I also signed up for physical therapy in the facility on premises. There too I found the staff to be outstanding.

Highly recommend Dr. Shapiro. He was honest with me when telling me he would not recommend surgery for my knee as it would not resolve issue long term. To me that is indicative of a good surgeon.

Doctor Eric Shapiro's quiet confidence was apparent to me upon my first meeting with him. It turns out he IS THE REAL DEAL... From the beginning of the shoulder surgery to the extensive rehab, I am seeing my steady improvement and success. His PT department with Shari and her bandits at the helm are top notch and instrumental in my recovery. This savvy office as a whole is most cohesive...each staff member is cognizant of their crucial role which results in a smooth "operation!" The consistency and continuity of care reveals itself to be 5 STAR. It runs at an efficient pace with an organized rhythm. Having a medical background , I consider myself to be a reliable judge of surgical MD choices. This is an excellent professional and caring crowd. Doctor Shapiro is clinically astute and his skills are impeccable....an 11 out of 10. Judy Fogel RDN,MS Boca Raton,FL and Great Neck, NY

I had a complete tear, rotator cuff, and I needed a surgeon with the skill and experience to attempt to repair it. Dr. Shapiro came highly recommended by several people at my gym and friends in the sports community-and they were right. He is outstanding. He repaired the tear, which was massive, was attentive and professional throughout the process and therapy and cares about his patients. Everyone that I know that used him for their surgery had very positive results.

With a serious ankle injury prior to moving here, I wanted the best orthopedic doctor I could find. A retired Head of Radiology recommended Dr. Shapiro to me in 2002. Never dreaming I would have so many problems, he has treated me for 2 torn minicus, massive rotator cuff surgery, partial hip replacement, etc. He is the best diagnostician in the area and has treated many of my friends and family. He is never quick to recommend surgery I can't say enough positive about him professionally.
