Dr. Pitts was professional and courteous with my daughter, wrote her a prescription to treat her skin infection, and referred us to a general surgeon to remove her abcess. I can see why Dr. Pitts gets so many positive reviews!

Terrible-- never got to see him. Office took insurance info on January for a May appointment. WASTED 5 MONTHS AND THEN THEY WOULD NOT TAKE MY INSURANCE, SO THEY WOULD NOT SEE ME.

We went to Dr. Pitts and really liked him. However, when calling his office, you are always put on hold (current wait time over 5 minutes). The staff is not pleasant, so I will look for someone else. Who has time to deal with a rude staff when there are so many other options?

Dr. Pitts is a great dermatologist. His staff however is horrible. Prescriptions are regularly held up because they do not inform Dr.Pitts when documents are required. I have had my pharmacy and insurance company initiate request for information and I still have to call every day. The nurse actually gets an attitude when you keep calling back. It has taken over a month to get information submitted to get a prescription filled.

Scheduled an appointment on March 6th, was asked for my name and insurance provider. I was provided with an appointment for 3/20 at 10:30 am. I scheduled time off from work, placed a reminder on my calendar in my phone, Get to the office today and the lady at the desk was on the phone when I walked in. She ends her call with Melissa, I give her my name and the time of the appointment and she tells me I dont have an appointment. I then tell her that when I called it was after lunch and I show he

While Dr. Pitts seems like a very nice man and competent professional his office staff is rude. After missing two appointments and one being caused by a miscommunication with his office staff on time. After apologizing and accepting responsibility we were told that we needed to find a new dermatologist. As African Americans we never support or show grace toward each other. It’s sad, but we will happily move on.

Dr. Pitts saved my husband’s life! My husband had been dealing with a host of medical issues for 5 years, seeing many specialists. Dr. Pitts was the ONLY doctor to look at everything as a whole. He realized that my husband had something more than just typical skin issues going on. He ran a blood test that checked for a rare form of cancer, glucoganoma. My husband's test came back positive. Dr. Pitts helped us get the proper treatment that not only saved his life, but removed his other symptoms.

My husband went to Dr. Pitts for a second opinion for a spot on his face. Dr. Pitts did a biopsy that the first Dr did not do. He referred my husband to a specialist to remove it.
