Dr. Eric Medina, MD

I’m about to go for my annual check up and I’ve had the best experience with Dr Eric Medina. My surgery was to put in a stent in each eye for pressure relief from Glucoma and to remove cataracts from both eyes. There were 4 possible problems that could have made this go totally wrong however with his skills and my following his instructions all turned out better than anticipated. I’m now seeing almost 20/15 and couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Medina is informative, friendly, professional. He listens & answers your concerns & questions. His medical education is impeccable, utilizing the most current diagnostics & treatment methods. The Boca Raton, Fl office is immaculate, with a friendly staff. I highly recommend Dr. Medina for. the ophthalmology services he specializes in, including cataract correction

My first interaction Dr. Medina was very accommodating. I had a real problem with my eye and he saw me the following day. Once I became a patient I felt as if all he wanted to do was make unnecessary appointments. My last 3 appointments with him were disappointing. I do not mind the occasional wait but after 45 min and not even being brought in from the waiting area I had to stress the the staff that my extended wait was unacceptable. It was nearly and hour wait. This became a pattern. I actually called ahead to verify on my next appointment if he was running on time and they said yes. Well, he was no where near on time. I decided that my next appointment would be his first appointment in the morning, 8AM. I was there, the staff was not. They opened at 8:05 am and asked me to wait a few min for the Doctor. After 30 min he was not in the office. I had to be at work and left. I gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly.

I drive all the way from Miami to Boca to see Dr. Medina. He is patient and listens. He is very thorough in his explanation of procedures, diagnosis and medications. I am impressed not only with his bedside manner, but with his medical skills at well. His office staff is friendly and efficient and always willing to assist! I highly recommend Dr. Medina. He is worth the 100 mile round trip to see him. Please take my word, you will not be sorry!

Dr. Medina is knowledgeable and caring. He carefully went over all the diagnostic tests and explained them to me in a clear and concise manner. The office is beautiful and the staff is supportive and helpful. A very positive experience overall. I highly recommend Dr. Medina for any eye related issues or concerns.
