Poor. I had a hip replacement in 2021. He did test for MRSA (positive), but when the replacement started to fail, he assumed the 'there's nothing wrong' attitude. As did his NP. There is indeed more going on as the new hip failed (shown on Xrays and Scans), but he failed to see anything wrong. This meant my insurance would not cover any treatment or therapy.

Total Hip replacement
Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. Didn’t pressure me for hip replacement. But, I definitely needed it done. I’m a Master in Karate and I competed for many years. I wore out the joint. I’m back kicking again. What an excellent job he did on me. I am grateful of his expertise.

Superb Surgeon
I had my right knee replaced by Dr Martin this September. I am amazed at how fast I am healing. No, he doesn't have the gift of gab but he is excellent in his expertise. I'd rather have a surgeon who knows what he's doing rather than one who likes to talk any day.

Very likely to recommend
He doesn’t have the best people skills but he is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone who need surgery. He is kind in a special way. So thank you Dr Martin for giving me back my quality of life.

Excellent doctor
From start to finish, Dr. Martin and his staff has shown care and concern for me. I had a total knee replacement on 1/30/23. Dr. Martin always takes the time to listen to me and answer my questions. In fact, his office went head to head with my insurance company to get the MRI that I needed to properly diagnose my condition. It has been 4 weeks and I am bending my knee at at 115 degrees and my scar looks amazing. Very thankful for such good care.

Worst manners
Dr Eric Martin did my kneee replacement surgery March 2020. Right away something wasn't right. At my follow up he said it's normal. Ok.... second follow up same thing. Back and forth appointments my leg was numb and he said it's fine. He'd sit there with his hands crossed assuring me it's all good. I finished therapy and still in pain. Then he said it's in my head. I went to Westchester medical orthopedic and I have an infection he never thought on getting blood from me. My left knee needs a replacement from the limping on the knee he did surgery on. I've been at Westchester 3 times and so much follow up. Tests pain management. No cortisone shots like Martin always did. I got nerve blockers and feel much better.

I went to dr Martin because I broke my knee cap. I was terrified because I had never broken a bone. He was amazing, caring, attentive. His staff was so nice & caring. He took care of all my fears. Definitely happy with my treatment.

Dr. Martin was terrific. He replaced both my hips. He was friendly and very helpful. He answered my questions and did not pressure me. The surgeries went smoothly and the follow up care by Dr. Martin and his staff was first rate. I have recommended Dr. Martin to friends and can’t think of anyone else I would rather have as an orthopedic surgeon.

I fell and injured my hip causing pain, I could not walk and was in a wheelchair.. He said I could not get hurt by falling in my kitchen. He did not do an exam or tests. I gave him all of records, scans and test results showing a lot of hip and back damage. He acted confused and said to me, why would he do hip arthroscopic surgery and why can't my neurologist treat me. He did nothing. I would not recommend this doctor.

Worst experience ever. Dr. Eric Martin is uncaring & gives no attention. Explained nothing, refused to treat and was downright rude and unethical. Stay away at all costs.
